  • Publication number: 20180271683
Abstract: Endovascular treatment of, for example, delayed cerebral vasospasm involves the placing of a microcatheter in the affected vessels followed by the teachings of the instant disclosure, which is clinically improved with comparison to stow infusion of a vasodilating compound. Systems, processes and self-expanding designed stents and stent-like members are featured whereas as stents and stent-like members are retrieved, nothing is left in the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20180255850
Abstract: Neutralized capacitors can be used as a source of antioxidants. A simple way to achieve this goal is to connected the neutralized capacitors to an ESD strap, and the capacitors can be placed in a pouch or tucked in a wristband. Variations of the application of neutralized capacitors as antioxidants are possible and included in this patent; headbands, calf bands, wristbands, and apparel or devices containing neutralized capacitors all fall under this patent.

  • Publication number: 20180237170
Abstract: Transfer of objects between spacecraft can be achieved in a low gravity environment. A capture device can be part of a module that facilitates visualization of a vessel that approaches the capture device. The module can facilitate positioning of the capture device for reception of the vessel. The capture device can include spring-loaded locking arms that both allow receipt and prevent escape of the vessel. At least a portion of each locking arm can extend radially inwardly and axially toward a cushion damper of the capture device. The locking arms can move radially away from each other upon application of a force from the vessel that is axially toward the cushion damper. The locking arms can move radially toward each other upon application of a force from the vessel that is axially away from the cushion damper.

  • Patent number: 10055685
Abstract: Some embodiments described herein cover a machine learning architecture with a separated perception subsystem and application subsystem. These subsystems can be co-trained. In one example embodiment, a data item is received and information from the data item is processed by a first node to generate a first feature vector comprising a plurality of features, each of the plurality of features having a similarity value representing a similarity to one of a plurality of centroids. The first node selects a subset of the features from the first feature vector, the subset containing one or more features that have highest similarity values. The first node generates a second feature vector from the first feature vector by replacing similarity values of features in the first feature vector that are not in the subset with zeros. A second node then processes the second feature vector to determine an output.

  • Patent number: 10005320
Abstract: A bicycle skewer rod and lock assembly includes a skewer rod with a cap. A security nut sub-assembly is coupled to the other end of the skewer rod. The security nut sub-assembly includes a nut securable to the skewer rod and having a plurality of peripheral keyways, and a sleeve cupped around the periphery of the nut and rotatable with respect to the nut. A key includes a plurality of inwardly depending keys each received through a sleeve sidewall keyway and into a nut peripheral keyway to turn the nut with respect to the skewer rod when the sleeve sidewall keyways are aligned with the nut peripheral keyways.

  • Patent number: 9990668
Abstract: The present invention provides a computer system and method for facilitating a transaction between a buyer and a seller. The seller is one of multiple available providers of a product and/or service. Initially, the buyer sends out an order, and the order is automatically verified. A seller is then determined based on at least one desirable characteristic of that particular seller. Then, the order is automatically translated into a format understandable by the desired seller. The order is communicated to the desired seller and the status of the order is later communicated to the buyer.

  • Publication number: 20180055666
Abstract: Endovascular treatment of, for example, delayed cerebral vasospasm involves the placing of a microcatheter in the affected vessels followed by the teachings of the instant disclosure, which is clinically improved with comparison to slow infusion of a vasodilating compound. Systems, processes and self-expanding designed stents and stent-like members are featured and highlighted. The stents and stent-like members being retrieved, nothing is left in the vessel. Drug-eluting stents, resorbable stents and angiographically imageable coatings, including tantalum brushes over part or all of subject system components are also disclosed.
