  • Publication number: 20240296503
Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may facilitate the generation of a virtual reconstruction model of a vehicle collision. UAVs may collect data (including images) related to the vehicle collision, such as with the insured's permission, which may be received by an external computing device associated with the insurer and utilized to perform a photogrammetric analysis of the images to determine vehicle impact points, the road layout at the scene of the collision, the state of the traffic light at the scene of the collision, the speeds and directions of vehicles, etc. This data may be used to generate a virtual reconstruction model of the vehicle collision. An insurer may use the virtual reconstruction model to perform various insurance-related tasks, such as allocating fault to drivers or autonomous vehicles involved in the vehicle collision, and adjustment of insurance pricing based upon the fault allocation.

  • Patent number: 12064710
Abstract: A system and method for extracting and separating botanical oils and compounds from botanical material without the use of solvents, having a vaporizing section which is further coupled to a centrifugal electrostatic precipitator for collection and segregation. The vaporizing section receives the botanical material through which a temperature-controlled inert gas is passed to evaporate specific vaporization temperature oils or compounds from the botanical material. The extracted vapor passes to the centrifugal electrostatic precipitator where the oil or compound is reduced back to the liquid state and is collected and segregated. The oils having the lower vapor temperature are collected first and the remaining oils are collected by specific and progressive vaporization temperature control.

  • Publication number: 20240263678
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for braking mecanum or omnidirectional wheels, by applying force to the rollers of a mecanum or omnidirectional wheel to prevent them from rolling when in contact with the ground or the floor. In some embodiments, it engages the rollers with teeth, rods, or wedges to generate friction and prevent them from rotating. The teeth, rods, or wedges rotate with the mecanum or omnidirectional wheel on the same axle, so the force can be applied and the rollers braked whether the wheel is rotating or not. In some embodiments, the force is applied using a servo or motor to push a thrust bearing, which then engages the rollers. In some embodiments, the servo or motor applies force using one or more gear racks, levers, cam wheels, or mechanical linkages.

  • Publication number: 20240259436
Abstract: The disclosed techniques identify and prevent suspicious activity occurring within a messaging software executed via an enterprise system. The disclosed techniques detect a current message sent from a particular user account of the messaging software executed via the enterprise system at a user device. The techniques compare the current message and user account activity associated with the current message with a behavior profile of the particular user account, where the behavior profile is generated based on prior user account activity that includes one or more prior messages sent from the user account via the enterprise system, and where the prior account activity occurs before the current message. Based on the comparing and predetermined risk levels, the disclosed techniques determine a risk level of the current message. Based on the determined risk level of the current message, the disclosed techniques perform preventative actions with respect to the particular user account.

  • Publication number: 20240256534
Abstract: The disclosed techniques automatically ingest new documents and store data extracted from the documents in a database for conversion into a different format. The disclosed techniques identify, via a backend API, newly released documents that include data for users and, based on the identifying, automatically ingest, via an ingestion call executed made by the backend API, the newly released documents. The disclosed techniques extract, using a computer vision model trained on different types of documents, a data from the newly released documents, where the extracting includes identifying locations within the documents from which to extract data. The disclosed techniques store the extracted data in the database storing data extracted from previously ingested documents for users in a text-based object format and convert, using a machine learning model trained on a plurality of metatags, data corresponding to a given user from the text-based object format to a queryable file format.
