Abstract: A bundled cable assembly comprises groups of jumpers arranged to define a main section and terminal sections that each extend from the main section. The main section includes a plurality of tap locations at spaced apart locations along a length of the main section. At least some of the jumpers are bundled together in the main section between the tap locations. The terminal sections each extend from one of the tap locations. Each of the jumpers includes a first jumper end in one of the terminal sections and a second jumper end in another of the terminal sections. The groups of jumpers are arranged such that each of the terminal sections comprises the first jumper ends the jumpers from a respective group of the groups of jumpers and at least one second jumper end from each of the other groups of jumpers.

  • Publication number: 20240161208
Abstract: A system includes a processor and an interface coupled to the processor. The processor determines that a first user takes a first action, and determines to pair the first user and a second user. The processor pairs the first user and the second user for an interaction, where the interaction lasts for a first time period. The interface receives an indication of a preference of the first user for the second user at a second time. The second time is after the first time period.

  • Patent number: 11983631
Abstract: A computer determines a solution to a nonlinear optimization problem. A conjugate gradient (CG) iteration is performed with a first order derivative vector and a second order derivative matrix to update a CG residual vector, an H-conjugate vector, and a residual weight vector. A CG solution vector is updated using a previous CG solution vector, the H-conjugate vector, and the residual weight vector. An eigenvector of the second order derivative matrix having a smallest eigenvalue is computed. A basis matrix is defined that includes a cubic regularization (CR) solution vector, a CR residual vector, the CG solution vector, the CG residual vector, and the eigenvector. A CR iteration is performed to update the CR solution vector. The CR residual vector is updated using the first order derivative vector, the second order derivative matrix, and the updated CR solution vector. The process is repeated until a stop criterion is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20240143827
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to multi-factor authentication for data security. In some embodiments, a computer system receives, from a user device, a database operation request that specifies a set of query data, where the computer system supports multiple different security levels requiring different subsets of a set of authentication factors supported by a known device of a user of the user device. Various devices may determine current contextual information for the database operation request, where the contextual information indicates the set of query data. In some embodiments, the computer system selects, based on the current contextual information, a security level from the multiple different security levels. In some embodiments, the computer system revokes, based on the selected security level, access privileges of the user for accessing a database corresponding to the database operation request.

  • Publication number: 20240111535
Abstract: A data processing apparatus includes detection circuitry that detects a parent instruction and a child instruction from a stream of instructions. The parent instruction references a destination register that is referenced as a source register by the child instruction. Adjustment circuitry then adjusts the child instruction to produce an adjusted child instruction whose behaviour is logically equivalent to a behaviour of executing the parent instruction followed by the child instruction.

  • Patent number: 11921239
Abstract: A method and a system of calibration of a first lidar device and a second lidar device are described. A subset of pairs of positions of a vehicle as the vehicle moves along a path according to a predetermined path pattern are determined. Each pair from the subset of pairs includes a first position and a second position of the vehicle. A first field of view of the first lidar device when the vehicle is located at the first position overlaps with a second field of view of the second lidar device when the vehicle is located at the second position at a second time. Based on the subset of pairs, an extrinsic calibration transformation that transforms a position of the second lidar device into a calibrated position that allows to obtain a consistent view of the world between the first and the second lidar devices is determined.

  • Patent number: 11893516
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that determine whether wait times for attractions of a theme park are shorter or longer than expected and notify guests of these shorter or longer wait times. In particular, the systems and methods determine a wait time value for an attraction by dividing a wait time for the attraction by a total wait time for all attractions of the theme park, and compare the wait time value to one or more threshold values based on an expected wait time for the attraction. In this manner, theme park guests may make a more informed decision on which attraction to wait for, and maximize their time at the theme park.
