Abstract: Systems and methods of advertising are presented herein. In some embodiments, a method may comprise collecting data on a consumer computer, receiving a signal having advertisement information and target criteria, and comparing said target criteria with the data. If the target criteria matches with the data, the method further comprises interfacing the advertisement information in a message format compatible with a message presentation client executed by the consumer computer.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention pertains to a method of creating photo vignettes. In one embodiment, the present invention accesses digitized photos. In the embodiment, the present invention also accesses photo-clustering parameters. The present embodiment then clusters the photos to obtain digitized photo vignettes, based on the photo-clustering parameters.

Abstract: Acquired data about communication interactions is used to form constructs which are indicative of an entity and communities-of-practice within the entity. A construction may be derived from the addressing data associated with the interactions to depict a communication network construct of the organization over time. The construction is selectively decomposed to smaller communications networks indicative of said communities-of-practice.

Abstract: Acquired data about inter-organizational communication interactions is used to form constructs indicative of a hierarchical structure for an organization. An exemplary graphical layout is shown which may be derived from the addressing data associated with the interactions to depict a communication network construct of the organization over time. Placement of individuals in the graphical construct may be used to infer each individuals placement in an organizational hierarchy construct.

Abstract: A first communication device (“FCD”) is adapted to communicate with a second communication device. The FCD obtains a first key, encodes an attribute in the FCD with the first key to produce a first encoded value, and transmits the first encoded value to the second communication device. The FCD also receives a second encoded value from the second communication device. The second encoded value comprises an attribute stored in the second communication device that has been encoded with a second key. Further, the FCD encodes the second encoded value with the first key to produce a third encoded value, transmits the third encoded value to the second communication device, and receives a fourth encoded value from the second communication device. The fourth encoded value comprises the first encoded value after being encoded by the second key. The FCD determines whether the third encoded value matches the fourth encoded value.

Abstract: A computer that comprises a monitor, a CPU, memory coupled to the CPU, and an instruction storage medium coupled to the CPU. The instruction storage medium provides instructions executable by the CPU, whereby the computer logs consumer activities, creates a local consumer profile based on said consumer activities, and displays an advertisement on the monitor if a target profile of said targeted ad matches the local consumer profile.
