  • Publication number: 20250138534
Abstract: In various examples, a current claimed set of points representative of a volume in an environment occupied by a vehicle at a time may be determined. A vehicle-occupied trajectory and at least one object-occupied trajectory may be generated at the time. An intersection between the vehicle-occupied trajectory and an object-occupied trajectory may be determined based at least in part on comparing the vehicle-occupied trajectory to the object-occupied trajectory. Based on the intersection, the vehicle may then execute the first safety procedure or an alternative procedure that, when implemented by the vehicle when the object implements the second safety procedure, is determined to have a lesser likelihood of incurring a collision between the vehicle and the object than the first safety procedure.

  • Patent number: 12288073
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for limiting the effective utilisation of an instruction fetch queue. The instruction fetch entries are used to control the prefetching of instructions from memory, such that those instructions are stored in an instruction cache prior to being required by execution circuitry while executing a program. By limiting the effective utilisation of the instruction fetch queue, fewer instructions will be prefetched and fewer instructions will be allocated to the instruction cache, thus causing fewer evictions from the instruction cache. In the event that the instruction fetch entries are for instructions that are unnecessary to the program, the pollution of the instruction cache with these unnecessary instructions can be mitigated.

  • Patent number: 12288014
Abstract: Discussed herein are methods and systems for an interdependent series/suite of AI models. In one embodiment, a processor receives projection assumption inputs from a user device and executes a population builder machine learning model to predict a dynamic adjustment table. It applies the model to population data to generate a value population file, which simulates a subset of the population based on the predicted table. The file contains value cells representing instances of a product. The device then runs a mortality machine learning model to determine mortality data for the product using the simulated population. Finally, it executes a flow projection model to generate a projection report for the product, incorporating mortality data and projection assumptions.

  • Patent number: 12287289
Abstract: Methods and apparatus (10) for Raman spectral analysis of a sample (12), such as a pharmaceutical dosage form, are disclosed. Delivery optics (16) are used to deliver probe light to a delivery region (13) on the sample, and collection optics (20) are used to collect, from a collection region (17) on the sample spaced from the delivery region, the probe light following scattering through the sample. Each of a plurality of target Raman spectral features are measured in the collected light, and a spectral distortion of the collected light arising during scattering through the sample is determined. A property of the sample is then quantified using the target Raman spectral features in combination with the determined spectral distortion, such that the quantified property is compensated for the spectral distortion.
