  • Publication number: 20250090366
Abstract: An ostomy bag device includes a bag with first and second chambers communicating via a first opening and a pressure sensitive interface. The bag includes a second opening interfacing with a stoma exit and receiving waste in the first chamber, a third opening expelling the waste from the first chamber, and a fourth opening releasing gas from the second chamber. The interface transitions from a first state in which the interface prevents a gas flow through the first opening from the first to second chambers and a second state in which the interface allows the flow. A first pressure differential in the first chamber relative to the second chamber causes the interface to assume the first state preventing the flow and a second pressure differential in the first chamber relative to the second chamber higher than the first differential causes the interface to assume the second state allowing the flow.

  • Publication number: 20250095778
Abstract: A sequencing data analysis platform can process datasets that include a large number of sequence read. The reads are aligned to one or more reference genomes. Due to sequencing errors, sequencing noise, or genuine differences between a reference genome and the individual species being sequenced, this mapping process may tolerate a certain number of mismatches, insertions, or deletions. The sequencing data analysis platform provides a set of tools for analyzing and visualizing the sequence reads.

  • Patent number: 12252967
Abstract: Regulating downhole fluid flow through a plurality of valves to treat wellbore sections while also allowing for production to continue. If it is determined that fluid flow through a valve of a plurality of valves is below a threshold, maintaining fluid flow through the below threshold valve may be maintained while restricting fluid flow through other valves of the plurality. This restriction fluidly isolates a section of a well from other sections of the well. Once isolated, a treatment substance may be injected through the below threshold valve into the isolated section of well. Afterwards, the closed valves may be reopened while restricting fluid flow through the treated section valve for a threshold period of time. the treated section valve may then be reopened after the threshold period of time.

  • Publication number: 20250086525
Abstract: A room scheduling device is disclosed that provides a dial or knob for turning to adjust time being reserved. The room scheduling device further includes a tactile button to activating the device and setting a reservation after a duration has been selected via the dial. The room scheduling device further includes a software application running on a personal electronic device such as a smartphone. The software application identifies the room scheduling device via an identifier and then displays information from an electronic calendar system as an augmented reality. The system can further include an identifier on an exterior wall of the room that allows the software application to identify the space from a greater distance to allow users to identify and reserve space from a distance away from the room.

  • Publication number: 20250086158
Abstract: A database management engine provides a user interface that allows users to access and modify employee information in a database. The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee. Before modifying a database entry, the engine modifies the user interface to include interface elements detailing the computed aggregate tax liability. The user explicitly can be required to confirm the database modification in view of the aggregate tax liability.

  • Publication number: 20250083704
Abstract: In various examples, a safety decomposition architecture for autonomous machine applications is presented that uses two or more individual safety assessments to satisfy a higher safety integrity level (e.g., ASIL D). For example, a behavior planner may be used as a primary planning component, and a collision avoidance feature may be used as a diverse safety monitoring component—such that both may redundantly and independently prevent violation of safety goals. In addition, robustness of the system may be improved as single point and systematic failures may be avoided due to the requirement that two independent failures—e.g., of the behavior planner component and the collision avoidance component—occur simultaneously to cause a violation of the safety goals.

  • Publication number: 20250077663
Abstract: Systems and methods for forensic resolution of ransomware attacks are provided. The systems and methods define a platform and functionality for addressing ransom based attacks. According to one aspect, the platform and functionality provides a suite of programs and services that enable verification of “ransomed” files to ensure that they can in fact be recovered. If an attack has compromised the integrity of the underlying data so that it cannot be recovered, paying the ransom is an exercise in futility. Additional aspects provide for rapid collection of data that is targeted and specific and that further enables efficient forensic analysis. Many conventional approaches in this space fail to capture requisite detail and/or fail to provide a methodology for handling the volumes of data required to efficiently and effectively track or resolve such attacks. Further aspects provide actionable intelligence that drives result oriented goals for ransomed data and/or compromised systems.
