    Abstract: A method and system for positioning and correcting visual data by seafloor topographic profiles are provided. The method includes: offsetting the water-depth profile of the target survey line equidistantly in a grid layer of a target area to make profiles generated after the offsetting traverse the grid layer of the target area, and obtaining offset data sequences corresponding to the water-depth profile of the target survey line; drawing offset topographic profiles based on offset data of the offset data sequences corresponding to the water-depth profile of the target survey line; calculating a profile similarity between the water-depth profile of the target survey line and each of the offset topographic profiles by using a dynamic time warping (DTW) algorithm; and selecting a geographic location of one of the offset topographic profiles with a largest profile similarity as an actual geographic location of a water-depth profile of a seafloor visual survey line.

    Abstract: Methods for isolating two adjacent transistors are disclosed. A substrate has a first semiconducting fin on a first region and a second semiconducting fin on a second region, and the first semiconducting fin and the second semiconducting fin contact each other at a jog region. A dummy gate within or adjacent the jog region is removed to expose a portion of the first semiconducting fin and form an isolation volume. Etching is performed to remove the exposed portion of the first semiconducting fin and create a trench in the substrate. The trench and the isolation volume are filled with at least one dielectric material to form an electrically isolating structure between the first region and the second region. Additional dummy gates in each region can be removed and replaced with an electrically conductive material to form two adjacent transistors electrically isolated from each other.

    Abstract: A receiver for wired communication, includes a DC (direct current) level shift circuit and an analog-to-digital converter circuit. The DC level shift circuit is configured to receive a first signal and generate a second signal, in which the DC level shift circuit comprises a capacitor, and the DC level shift circuit is further configured to transmit a first common-mode voltage in a first voltage domain to a first terminal of the capacitor and transmit a second common-mode voltage in a second voltage domain to a second terminal of the capacitor before the first signal is received, and when the DC level shift circuit receives the first signal, the DC level shift circuit stops transmitting the first common-mode voltage and the second common-mode voltage to the capacitor. The analog-to-digital converter circuit is configured to generate a digital signal according to the second signal.

    Abstract: Dome switches can provide inconsistent positive tactile feedback, particularly when depressed around the edges of a corresponding push button as compared to depression at the middle of the push button. Various arrangements intended to render push buttons that incorporate one or more dome switches more consistent in providing positive tactile feedback, while maintaining a reasonable ease and cost of manufacturing, are discussed herein. A push button with consistent edge performance using a single dome switch incorporates a hinge arm that spans button posts. This reduces or eliminates rotation deflection of a button cap caused by the torsional forces on the push button created by depression forces applied by the user at an edge of the push button. As a result, the dome switch provides a predictable and consistent positive tactile feedback to the user similar to that achieved by a centrally applied depression force.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a use of a mulberry (Morus alba L.) extract, including a method for treating ulcerative colitis, a method for preventing ulcerative colitis, and a method for reduction in Disease Activity Index, DAI. The use is application of a mulberry extract to the preparation of a product for treating and/or preventing ulcerative colitis. The invention experimentally demonstrated that positive drug group, SZ-A-1, SZ-A-2, SZ-A-3, SZ-A-4 and SZ-A-5 (pretreatment) could each significantly inhibit colonic atrophy in UC model mice, and the effects in SZ-A-2, SZ-A-3 and SZ-A-4 groups are comparable to that in positive drug group, with SZ-A-5 (pretreatment) achieving a superior effect to the positive drug. The mulberry extract of the invention, as a component derived from natural plants, has unique advantages of small toxic and side effects, mild and lasting actions etc.

    Abstract: A fluorescence detection kit for the enzymatic activity of activated complement C1s, a detection method using the same, and use of the same are provided for a purpose of detecting the enzymatic activity level of the activated complement C1s in a sample. Specific capture and magnetic separation of C1s in a C1s standard or a sample to be tested are performed based on a magnetic bead precoated with a C1s recombinant antibody. After non-specific binders are removed, a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) fluorescein labeled substrate peptide for enzyme digestion by C1s is added, and a fluorescence signal in an obtained reaction system is detected with a microplate reader. Accordingly, the enzymatic activity of activated C1s is quantitatively determined by detecting changes of a fluorescence intensity.

    Abstract: An integrated optimal designing and manufacturing method involving structure layout, geometry and 3D printing is provided, the method includes: building a minimum connection base structure, establishing a layout optimization model after screening out components that violate an overhang angle constraint, adding all components to the layout optimization model in batches; considering a manufacturing constraint about an overhang angle of each component, merging the components and fusing nodes in a layout by iterative optimization, and processing crossed components; extracting structure information, building a 3D solid model, and then slicing the solid model and generating a printing path for 3D printing. Considering the overhang angle constraint of the components in the printing manufacturing, the self-supporting structure is generated optimally, and no additional support is needed in the printing process; the structure is normalized by multiple iterations of component fusion and node movement processing.

    Abstract: A method for optimizing design and manufacture of a self-supporting structure based on multi-axis 3D printing are provided, which comprises the following steps: using a structural topology optimization method based on an SIMP model to achieve the optimal configuration design of a complex structure, converting an image into a binary image, and post-processing the result of topology optimization; determining an overhanging angle of a structure boundary, and determining the printing direction of different printing partitions according to the classification; performing integrated optimization of angle constraints; extracting structural information, establishing a 3D solid model, and then partitioning and slicing the model, and generating a printing path for self-supporting multi-axis 3D printing manufacturing. The present disclosure has the beneficial effects that the self-supporting structure is generated in the optimization process, no additional support is needed in the printing process.
