  • Patent number: 7471046
Abstract: In a PDP, an inductor is coupled to an electrode of a panel capacitor. A current of a first direction is injected to the inductor to store energy, and the voltage of the electrode is changed to Vs/2 using a resonance between the inductor and the panel capacitor and the stored energy. The difference between the Y electrode voltage Vs/2 and the X electrode voltage ?Vs/2 causes a sustain on the panel. Subsequently, a current of a second direction, which is opposite to the first direction, is injected to the inductor to store energy therein. The voltage of the electrode is changed to ?Vs/2 using a resonance between the inductor and the panel capacitor and the energy stored therein.

  • Publication number: 20080182408
Abstract: In a method of forming a carbon nano-tube, an oxidized metal layer is formed on a substrate. An insulation layer having an opening is formed on the oxidized metal layer to expose a surface of the oxidized metal layer through the opening. The oxidized metal layer exposed through the opening is converted into a catalyst metal layer pattern for allowing a carbon nano-tube to grow from the catalyst metal layer pattern. The carbon nano-tube grows from the catalyst metal layer pattern to form a carbon nano-tube wire in the opening. Thus, the carbon nano-tube may not grow between the insulation layer pattern and the catalyst metal layer pattern.
