  • Publication number: 20120075257
Abstract: A touch screen panel includes a transparent substrate. A plurality of first and second sensing cells are formed so as to be connected along first and second directions, respectively. The second sensing cells are disposed between the first sensing cells. A plurality of first and second connection patterns connect the first and second sensing cells to one another along the first and second directions, respectively. A first insulating layer is interposed between the first second connection patterns. In the touch screen panel, each of the first connection patterns includes a main bridge pattern separately patterned in a different layer from the first sensing cells connected by the main bridge pattern to connect adjacent first sensing cells to other along the first direction, and one or more sub-bridge patterns which branch from the main bridge pattern, and which have both ends connected to the main bridge pattern so as to form a detour path.

  • Publication number: 20080267564
Abstract: Disclosed are an asymmetric Y-shaped optical waveguide structure and an optical transceiver using the structure. The asymmetric Y-shaped optical waveguide structure includes a main axis optical waveguide extended in a longitudinal direction; and a branch optical waveguide extended from an extension start point in the main axis optical waveguide in a longitudinal direction as much as a predetermined region and then diverged outside. The main axis optical waveguide and the branch optical waveguide have effective refractive indexes, the magnitude relation of which is reversed for optical signals having first and second wavelength range. The optical transceiver includes an asymmetric Y-shaped optical waveguide structure, an optical fiber optically coupled to the structure for transmitting/receiving of the bi-directional optical signal, a laser diode and a photodiode. Accordingly, it is possible to miniaturize the optical transceiver, reduce a packaging cost, and improve reliability of the optical transceiver.

  • Publication number: 20050281513
Abstract: A module for transmitting and receiving optical signals based on an optical fiber with a slanted surface at an end is disclosed. The module includes, on a semiconductor substrate, a laser diode and a photodiode optically combined to the optical fiber. On the substrate, a surface-mounted laser diode; an optical fiber guided and installed in a groove to face with the laser diode, and having a slanted surface at an end; and a photodiode surface-mounted to place an optical activation region right below a horizontal projection plane of the slanted surface are provided. The slanted surface has an optical fiber coating layer for transmitting a transmitted signal output from the laser diode to the optical fiber and reflecting a received signal input from outside through the optical fiber. This module may have reduced dimensions, reduce manufacturing costs and time during packaging, and ensure high reliability by simple optical axis alignment.
