  • Publication number: 20130145697
Abstract: A protection cover mechanism is disclosed. A hollow hinge tube is connected to a protective cover. A first hinge cover body is connected to the hollow hinge tube and includes a positioning rib. A spring is disposed in the first hinge cover body and abuts the hollow hinge tube. A hollow driven member is movably disposed in the first hinge cover body and abuts the spring. The spring is abutted between the hollow hinge tube and the hollow driven member. The hollow driven member includes a protrusion. The positioning rib is positioned on the hollow driven member, forcing the hollow driven member to move linearly with respect to the first hinge cover body. A fixing base includes a hollow tube fit on the hollow driven member and having an annular inner guide track with an undulated profile. The protrusion abuts the annular inner guide track.

  • Patent number: 8368652
Abstract: The invention provides an optical touch device, including a main body, a keyboard and a light emitting member. The keyboard, placed on the main body and having a first end portion and a second end portion, includes a supporting frame, a keycap and a stopping member. The keycap is connected to the supporting frame and moves between a first position and a second position. The stopping member is connected to the keycap and moves simultaneously with the keycap. The light emitting member generates a light beam to the keyboard. When the keycap is in the first position, the light beam passes through the first end portion to the second end portion, and when the keycap is in the second position, the light beam is terminated by the stopping member, such that the light does not reach the second end portion.

  • Publication number: 20120327100
Abstract: A method and an electronic device for tactile feedback are provided. An original image is input and converted to a binary image which includes a first grayscale value and a second grayscale value. The original image is converted to a grayscale image at least including a third grayscale value between the first grayscale value and the second grayscale value. An index map is generated according to the binary image and the grayscale image. The index map includes a plurality of index values indicative of different strengths for tactile feedback. A touch input on a touch panel is detected when the original image is displayed on a display panel. In response to the detected touch input, a tactile activation unit is driven to generate tactile feedback according to the index map.
