  • Patent number: 9559681
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device is configured such that if, due to an erroneous connection or the like, an abnormal state is entered in which an output voltage is lower than a ground potential VSS, an N-type DMOS transistor and a first P-type MOS transistor are turned off and a voltage is applied to their parasitic diodes in the opposite direction, preventing a current from flowing. In a normal state in which the output voltage is higher than the ground potential, at least one of the N-type DMOS transistor and first P-type MOS transistor, which are connected in parallel, is turned on, preventing a current from flowing into the parasitic diode of the N-type DMOS transistor.

  • Patent number: 9521312
Abstract: Signals of pixels are acquired from an image sensor in which a first pixel, a second pixel, and an imaging pixel are arranged, the first pixel receiving light flux that is restricted to light flux passing through a first portion of a pupil area of an imaging optical system, the second pixel receiving light flux that is restricted to light flux passing through a second portion that is different from the first portion of the pupil area, and the imaging pixel being different from the first and second pixels. Based on the acquired signals, estimated signals at a position at which the first and second pixel is not arranged are estimated. A defocus amount of the imaging optical system is calculated based on evaluation values obtained based on the estimated signals and the signals from the first and second pixels.

  • Publication number: 20160344921
Abstract: An image capture apparatus and control method thereof that improve focus detection accuracy in scenes that have low luminance, contrast, and the like is disclosed. The image capture apparatus has a focus detection mode suited to scenes that have low luminance, contrast, and the like. In this focus detection mode, the focus detection is carried out on the basis of a frequency component extracted from an image signal to which a coefficient for correcting intensity differences between color components is not applied, or to which a coefficient having a lower difference among color components than the computed coefficient has been applied.

  • Patent number: 9500281
Abstract: A piston is provided displaceably in the interior of a cylinder tube that constitutes a fluid pressure cylinder, and a piston cover made from an elastic material is disposed so as to cover one end surface of the piston. The piston cover comprises a main body portion confronting a head cover of the cylinder tube, a guide portion covering an outer circumferential surface of the piston and disposed in sliding contact with an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder hole, and a hook portion folded toward an inner circumferential side with respect to the guide portion. Upon displacement of the piston toward the head cover, shocks are absorbed by abutment of the main body portion against the head cover. When the piston is displaced along the cylinder tube, the guide portion serves to guide the piston in the axial direction by sliding contact with the cylinder hole.

  • Publication number: 20160316135
Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an imaging plane phase-difference type first focus detecting unit and a contrast type second focus detecting unit. A saturation detecting unit detects saturation of focus detecting pixels or imaging pixels provided in an imaging element. A brightness detecting unit detects the brightness of an object. If the number of pixels detected by the saturation detecting unit exceeds a predetermined value or the brightness of an object detected by the brightness detecting unit is less than a predetermined value, a CPU controls a focus adjustment operation only using a first detection amount. Alternatively, the CPU controls a focus adjustment operation based on the result obtained by weighting processing of a first detection amount and a second detection amount in response to an increase in the number of pixels of which saturation of the outputs has been detected or a decrease in the brightness of an object.

  • Patent number: 9407812
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus that is capable of performing a focusing control with sufficient accuracy without restricting a settable range of a focus detection area. An image pickup device has pixels each of which has sub-pixels that receive light beams passing through different pupil areas. A correlation operation area including a focus detection area and a shift area is set in an image indicated by an output from the image pickup device. A defocus amount is calculated in response to a correlation amount found by applying a shift process to image signals from the sub-pixels. If the focus detection area is set at a position where the correlation operation area is set with a default width, the shift area is set with a predetermined width. Otherwise the shift area is set with a narrower width and the correlation operation area is set with a width narrower than the default width.

  • Patent number: 9374074
Abstract: The highest voltage of a power supply voltage, a ground potential, and a signal voltage is output as a selection voltage from a terminal on the output side. In this case, terminals on the input side and the terminal on the output side are connected to each other through MOS transistors in the ON state. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a voltage drop due to a parasitic diode of each MOS transistor.
