    Abstract: A clutch control hydraulic circuit includes first and second solenoid valves connected to a control unit, the first solenoid valve is provided between a first hydraulic pathway and a downstream junction hydraulic pathway normally switches to an open state when not energized, and switches to a closed state when energized; and the second solenoid valve is provided between a second hydraulic pathway and the junction hydraulic pathway, switches to a closed state when not energized, and switches to an open state when energized. The first solenoid valve maintains its closed state when switched to a non-energized state from an energized state while pressure of the junction hydraulic pathway is higher than that of the first hydraulic pathway, and when the first solenoid valve is thus closed in its non-energized state, pressurizing the upstream side hydraulic pathway by operation of a clutch lever opens the first solenoid valve.

    Abstract: A transmission apparatus for a vehicle includes a shift spindle having a clutch actuator, and also includes a shift actuator adapted to operate a shift drum. The apparatus also includes a motor for rotating the shift spindle, and a controller for controlling the motor. In use, the clutch actuator is rotated prior to the shift actuator when the shift spindle is rotated to a shift-down side. The controller rotates the shift spindle to a shift-up side and stores, as a standard duty, a driving duty of the motor at the time when a rotary angle of the shift drum reaches a drum angle threshold. Then, the controller rotates the shift spindle to a shift-down side, and learns a rotary angle of the shift spindle at the time when the standard duty is generated, as a touch point at which the clutch is initially partially engaged.

    Abstract: In a clutch engagement control system for engagement and disengagement of transmission of a rotational force between a mainshaft and a countershaft, when clutch engagement control is executed based on the determination that rotational speeds of both the shafts agree with each other, even if unexpected variations in countershaft rotational speed result from torsion occurring downstream of the countershaft in a drive system and/or the like, smooth engagement control is implemented. A control value of countershaft rotational speed at each time is updated and managed. If a threshold value is exceeded by a difference between a countershaft rotational speed actual measured value and the preceding control value, the threshold value is added to the preceding value to obtain the control value. If the threshold value does not exceed the difference, the actual measured value at this time is set as a control value without any change.
