  • Publication number: 20050224429
Abstract: A support jig of quartz glass for receiving wafer-like substrates of semiconductor material in a vertical orientation comprises two spaced-apart circular end plates (10) which are interconnected by means of at least three transverse rods (1, 2, 3) extending in parallel with one another and between the end plates. They are provided with slots (4) for receiving the substrates, the slots (4) being open towards the substrate to be received and having a predetermined maximum slot depth, and they are arranged in a partial circle around the circular edge (5) of the end plates (10) such that an envelope (6) which encloses the partial circle on the outside projects nowhere beyond the circular edge (5). At least part of the transverse rods (1, 2, 3) have a radial cross-sectional profile which is configured as a circular form with a flattening (21, 31). The transverse rods (1, 2, 3) are arranged around the partial circle such that the flattening (21, 31) is oriented towards the circular edge of the end plates.

  • Publication number: 20040200175
Abstract: Interconnectable panels having tongue-and-groove connections are mechanically connected to each other by first moving two panels into an intermediate position and then pivoting one panel with respect to the other. The underside of the tongue of one panel has a depression, while the groove of another panel has a protruding lower lip. The lower lip has a projection that fits in the depression when the two panels are in the intermediate position.

  • Publication number: 20040187423
Abstract: An interconnectable panel has a pair of surfaces on a lateral edge that adjoins a second pair of surfaces on a complementary lateral edge of another panel when the two panels are interconnected. The edge profiles are such that the first pair of adjoined surfaces has a cross-sectional contour in the shape of a segment of a circle. The circle has a center lying in the upper sections of the connected lateral edges. The circle also has a radius measured from the center to the first pair of adjoined surfaces. The second pair of adjoined surfaces is spaced away from the center of the circle by a distance greater than the radius. That distance increases in a direction away from the first pair of adjoined surfaces.

  • Patent number: 6647689
Abstract: A panel, particularly a floor-covering panel, is provided that has separate horizontal and vertical locking structures. The panel has a first side edge and a second side edge. The first side edge has a groove and a locking lip, and the second side edge has a tongue and a locking tongue. The first side edge of one panel interlocks with the second side edge of another panel without adhesives or fasteners such that the tongue and groove form a joint that provides a vertical interconnection lock and the locking lip and locking tongue form a joint that provides a horizontal interconnection lock. Advantageously, one or more first side edge surfaces opposite surfaces of the second edge locking tongue have a space between them. The separate horizontal and vertical locking structures reduces, if not prevents, damage to the locking structures during joining of panels.

Abstract: The invention relates to a control device for controlling machines, especially hydraulic machines, by hand or foot. The inventive device comprises an actuating element (1), especially a pedal or a control lever, which can be moved in several directions. The aim of the invention is to feel a resisting force when the actuating element (1) is displaced or adjusted, whereby said force is on the scale of hydraulic forces having a direct effect. The actuating element (1) engages with a transmitter device (3) which is not hydraulic or is hydraulically decoupled from the hydraulic system. A damping device (6) engages with the actuating element (1). Said damping device defies the movement in at least one direction of motion pertaining to the actuating element (1) by means of a fluid that is moved by the actuating element (1).

  • Patent number: 5410072
Abstract: Isomeric mixtures of pentanoic acids are prepared by subjecting butene-1/butene-2 mixtures to hydroformylation to form aldehyde mixtures, followed by oxidation of the aldehyde mixtures which have been separated off from the reaction product. The hydroformylation is carried out in a heterogeneous system in the presence of rhodium catalysts which are dissolved in water. The mixture of isomeric 5 carbon monocarboxylic acids produced, when esterified with polyhydric alcohols, yields mixtures of isomeric esters which are useful as lubricants for refrigerant compressors operated with chlorine-free, at least partly fluorinated hydrocarbons as the refrigerant.
