  • Patent number: 11962291
Abstract: A driver circuit for a low-inductance power module that has a connection and an output. The connection is connectable to the source contact of a power transistor and the output is connectable to the gate contact of the power transistor. The driver circuit is configured to produce, in a first operating mode, a first gate-source voltage for the gate contact of the power transistor and to provide the first gate-source voltage at the output of the driver circuit. The driver circuit is also configured to produce, in a second operating mode, during at least one preset minimum time span, a lower second gate-source voltage for the gate contact of the power transistor and to provide the second gate-source voltage at the output of the driver circuit.

  • Publication number: 20200080736
Abstract: A device for conditioning room air and/or process air, having a nozzle system that has a plurality of nozzles arranged in one or more nozzle branches, for atomising liquid, and at least one pump by means of which the liquid being atomised is pressurised, wherein said nozzles are designed as swirl nozzles and/or the pump applies a pressure to the liquid being atomised of between 3 and 50 bar. The liquid, particularly water, can be atomised particularly finely and a good degree of evaporation can be achieved, as a result of which the amount of water loss is also reduced. The device has a low susceptibility to failure, a long pump service life and low maintenance requirements.

  • Patent number: 6043489
Abstract: A positron source with high intensity and low energy bandwidth and small spatial dimensions, has a positron emitter of high specific activity and, following the positron emitter, a reflection moderator with a hole. The hole diameter on the emitter side of the reflection moderator is smaller than 0.4 mm, preferably below 0.1 mm. Because of the small hole diameter and the small energy spread, the phase space of the positrons coming from the positron source corresponds to the phase space of the electrons emitted by a conventional thermionic cathode. The positron source can therefore be used in a conventional scanning electron microscope, which can be selectively changed over between positron operation and electron operation. Two adjusting units and are provided for adjustment of the positron source.
