  • Patent number: 4189269
Abstract: A workpiece transport device which includes at least one gripper tong arrangement driven in comformity with a work rhythm of a machine tool which is required to be charged and/or discharged. The gripper tong arrangement grips a marginal area of the workpiece, transports the workpiece, and deposits the workpiece at another machine tool or workpiece depository. An extensible and retractable support slide is provided for supporting the workpiece in a transport phase by being displaced beneath the workpiece in parallel to the gripper tong arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4125072
Abstract: A workpiece turning device is provided for an automated press train of the type where workpieces are turned after being withdrawn from a working chamber of a press and are then subsequently fed to a further press. The turning device includes separately movable gripper arms for clamping a workpiece therebetween, as well as a rotary unit for rotating the gripper arms as a unit about an axis parallel to the plane of clamping movement. In preferred embodiments the gripper arms are actuated by piston-cylinder units connected to a pressure source by a rotatable connection.

  • Patent number: 4105735
Abstract: A process for flameproofing plastics comprising incorporating in the plastic a homogeneous granulate containing pulverulent red phosphorus with a particle size of up to about 100 microns and a binder; the granulate is more particularly comprised of a blend of10-97% by weight of red phosphorus,3-50% by weight of a binder melting between about 30.degree. and 180.degree. C. and being selected from waxes and/or waxy substances and/or metal soaps, and up to 87% by weight of addends promoting the flameproofing efficiency of the granulate, inhibiting the evolution of gaseous phosphines upon the incorporation of the granulate with the plastics, or being suitable fillers.

  • Patent number: 4067458
Abstract: Apparatus for the unstacking and transportation of blanks into a subsequently arranged operating chamber of a processing machine, wherein the blanks are transferred from a stack of blanks, by hoisting devices, especially suction bridges, includes a suspended conveyor which conveys the blanks by way of a double-blank control device to a centering station. From the centering station, the blanks, centered in their position, are transferrable into the operating chamber, optionally by way of an intermediate station. At least two stacks of blanks are disposed in series in the conveying direction of the blanks on at least two elevator carts movable at right angles to the conveying direction. Each elevator cart is associated with a separately operable suspended conveyor with associated hoisting units. A further, continuously driven suspended conveyor is provided downstream of the double blank control device which conveyor spans a double-blank depositing unit and terminates over the zone of the centering station.

  • Patent number: 4041025
Abstract: Disperse dyes of the formula ##STR1## in which D is the radical of a diazo component, Y is a linear or branched, unsubstituted or substituted alkylene of one to four carbon atoms;R.sup.1 is hydrogen, optionally substituted linear or branched alkyl of one to four carbon atoms, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or aralkyl, phenyl, or a radical of the formula: ##STR2## and R.sup.2 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl which may bear chloro, bromo or cyano as a substituent; andD and the rings A and B may bear one or more further substituents other than --SO.sub.3 H and --COOH;and also to their productions and their use for dyeing water-repellent fibrous materials. The dyes are eminently suitable for dyeing hydrophobic fibers, particularly polyesters, in yellow to blue-green shades of excellent fastness properties.

  • Patent number: 4029468
Abstract: Dye formulations for transfer printing which in addition to conventional ingredients contain dyes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are hydrogen, hydroxy, chloro, bromo or alkylamino substituents, one of R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 being different from hydrogen. The dyes are distinguished by a comparatively very low transfer temperature.

  • Patent number: 3968131
Abstract: An improvement in the process for the manufacture of 1-amino-2-alkoxy-4-hydroxyanthraquinones by reaction of primary, saturated, linear or branched aliphatic alcohols, which may contain further substituents, with 1-amino-2-phenoxy-4-hydroxyanthraquinone or 1-amino-2-methoxy-4-hydroxyanthraquinone in the presence of alkaline reagents, which consists in carrying out the reaction in the presence of polyethylene glycols of molecular weight above 150. The presence of the polyethylene glycol facilitates the reaction and as a result high yields of reaction product are obtained even with alcohols which react incompletely, if at all, in prior processes.

  • Patent number: 3936477
Abstract: Anthraquinoid disperse dyes of formula: ##SPC1##In whichX is hydrogen, chloro, methyl, methoxy or ethoxy;Y is alkylene of two to eight carbon atoms or --(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --; and-Z is CN or COOH.The dyes give deep blue colorations of high fastness to light and heat setting on synthetic materials and particularly those of linear polyesters. The dyeings have a neutral evening shade which is not displaced toward red.
