  • Publication number: 20050276878
Abstract: An extracting device for easily exchanging a mold. The extracting device is attached to an upper side of a molding machine using an adapter plate. The extracting device includes a plurality of arms configured to rotate about vertical axes and a vertical motion arm, having a gripper, mounted to the end of the arms. The mold attached or to be attached to a mold fixing member is lifted, lowered or translated to the side of the molding machine. The arms of the extracting device are rotated to be away from a conveying path of the mold such that the arms do not obstruct the conveying path. In this way, a useful conveying path of the mold may be maintained, thereby the mold or a part of a crane or the like for the mold does not contact the extracting device and the mold may be easily exchanged.

  • Publication number: 20050276877
Abstract: An extracting device capable of extracting a molded article to both of a front side and a back side of a molding machine. The extracting device is loaded on an upper side of the molding machine. The extracting device includes a plurality of arms configured to rotate about vertical axes and a vertical motion arm mounted to the end of the arms. The vertical motion arm has a gripper at its front end for gripping the molded article. The molded article may be extracted to the back side of the machine by moving the end of the arms rotatable about the vertical axes to the back side. Also, the molded article may be extracted to the front side of the machine by moving the end of the arms to the front side. Even when the molded article is extracted to the front side of the molding machine, the extracting device cannot disturb the work of the operator and the safety of the operator may be ensured.

  • Publication number: 20050233029
Abstract: Jack-up bolts are provided at two places along the rear platen movement direction on both sides of a lower part of a rear platen of an injection molding machine. The jack-up bolt engages threadedly with a bolt hole formed in the rear platen, and a lower end face of the jack-up bolt abuts on the upper surface of a slide plate to support the rear platen. A fixing bolt is inserted in a through hole formed in the jack-up bolt, and is threadedly engaged with a tap hole provided in the slide plate, by which the rear platen and the slide plate are integrated. The rear platen moves while being supported by the slide plate. When the tilt of the rear platen is corrected, the fixing, bolt is loosened and the jack-up bolt is turned, by which a distance between the rear platen and the slide plate is adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20050233027
Abstract: An injection unit of an injection molding machine capable of preventing a displacement of an axis of a heating barrel and an axis of an injection screw and facilitating a nozzle axis adjustment. A front plate supporting a heating barrel is fixed to a base with a height-adjusting mechanism located in-between. A rear plate is connected to the front plate by connecting members symmetrically arranged. The injection screw inserted in the heating barrel is rotatably supported by a pusher plate to which a ball nut is fixed. A ball screw engaged with the ball nut is rotatably supported by the rear plate. The pusher plate is supported and guided by the support/guide member, and moves forward to inject resin by the rotation of the ball screw. The support/guide member is supported by a supporting member fixed to the front plate.

  • Publication number: 20050089481
Abstract: To obtain a composition for caries prevention, which has effects for efficiently suppressing demineralization and promoting remineralization and stability in keeping for a long time, 0.01 to 10% by weight of sodium carboxymethylcellulose having the etherification degree of 0.7 to 1.0 is used in a composition blended with a casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate complex (CPP-ACP) and/or a casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium fluoride phosphate complex (CPP-ACFP), a sodium carboxymethylcellulose, a viscosity regulator and water.

  • Patent number: 5997780
Abstract: A zero point adjusting method and apparatus for a pressure detector of an injection molding machine, capable of carrying out a zero point adjustment of the pressure detector when external loads acting on the pressure detector are completely removed without disassembling an injection mechanism. An advance limit position Qf and a retreat limit position Qb of a screw are detected by driving the screw with a low output to determine an intermediate position Pm. By moving the screw to the intermediate position Pm, a resin reaction force acting directly on the screw is removed. Reciprocating motion in which an amplitude decreases gradually is imparted to the screw, thereby causing a backlash, having equal plays in the advance and retreat directions, between a ball nut and a ball screw. Then, the zero point adjustment of the pressure detector is made.

  • Patent number: 5792395
Abstract: A plasticization control method for an injection molding machine in which the plasticized state of resin in an injection cylinder is controlled in measuring based on the detected rotating force of a screw. A reference screw rotating force C or F required for desired measuring operation is determined. Using the reference screw rotating force C or F as a reference, upper and lower limits D and E of an allowable screw rotating force range, in which measuring can be performed normally, are set for each of screw positions, and then stored as an allowable value file. The rotating force V acting on the screw during measuring operation is successively detected. If the rotating force V is not between the upper and lower limits D and E of the allowable range relating to the current position of the screw, it is judged that plasticization is abnormal and an abnormality alarm is outputted.

  • Patent number: 5505606
Abstract: A nozzle hole sealing device for an injection nozzle capable of blocking a hole at the tip of a nozzle by using a robot in purging an injection molding machine. The nozzle hole sealing device includes a tool changer for connecting the nozzle hole sealing device to a wrist of the robot and a nozzle sealing body for sealing a nozzle hole by contacting the nozzle tip of the injection molding machine, thereby composing a nozzle sealing robot tool as a whole. A chuck mechanism for keeping a nozzle tip in contact with the nozzle sealing body, a heat reserving heater for a nozzle tip contact portion, and a resin passage ranging from the nozzle tip contact portion to a purged resin discharge surface including a constant pressure open value disposed in the middle of the passage may be further included.

  • Patent number: 5445511
Abstract: This apparatus, preferably applicable to a molding machine using the core change type dies, is capable of pushing out the inserted core from the mother mold, thereby facilitating the core extracting operation by the robots. A mother mold of a complementary die in the core change type dies is constituted by a main body and an intermediate plate which is disposed behind the main body and to be movable in both the forward and backward directions. A core fixing and releasing mechanism is provided on the intermediate plate. Furthermore, there is provided a push-out device disposed in a clearance formed between the main body and the intermediate plate when the intermediate plate is shifted rearward. The push-out device has its one surface abutting on a front surface of a core and its another surface abutting on a rear surface of the main body.
