  • Publication number: 20060214110
Abstract: A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention comprises an image pickup device and a medical examinee holding device that is provided with a bed. The image pickup device includes a large number of radiation detectors and radiation detector support plates. A large number of radiation detectors are mounted around the circumference of a through-hole and arranged in the axial direction of the through-hole. The radiation detectors are arranged in three layers formed radially with respect to the center of the through-hole and mounted on the lateral surfaces of the radiation detector support plates. Since the radiation detectors are not only arranged in the axial direction and circumferential direction of the through-hole but also arrayed in the radial direction, it is possible to obtain accurate information about a ?-ray arrival position in the radial direction of the through-hole (the positional information about a radiation detector from which a ?-ray image pickup signal is output).

  • Publication number: 20060162979
Abstract: A mode changeover control system for a transmission wherein the starting of a vehicle can be prevented even if the transmission is changed over to the drive mode side while a side stand is in an erected position. In a motorcycle including a mode changeover mechanism for a continuously variable transmission, and a side stand, there is provided a changeover operation section changed over by the driver between operation positions corresponding respectively to a drive mode position and a neutral mode position of the mode changeover mechanism. An electronic control unit operates the mode changeover mechanism based on the changeover operation position of the changeover operation section. The control section is configured so as to continually maintain the mode changeover mechanism in the neutral mode position even if the changeover operation section is operated to a drive mode operation position while the side stand is in a stored position.

  • Patent number: 6999170
Abstract: Differential signals and sum signals are extracted from a detection signal of passing light detected when a light beam emitted to an analysis optical disc passes through a particle on the disc. Presence of the particle is decided based on the differential signals, effectiveness of counting particles is decided based on the sum signals, and the decision results are stored. The stored decision results are scanned by using a scanning window corresponding to a minimum size of measured objects, particles having the minimum size are detected, and the number of detected particles is stored. Subsequently, the stored decision results are scanned using a scanning window corresponding to a size larger by one scan than the maximum size of the measured objects, particles having a size larger by one scan than the maximum size are detected, and the number of detected particles is stored.

  • Publication number: 20050005620
Abstract: An electric fan system has a first electric blower 10, which utilizes a brushless motor, and a second electric blower, which utilizes a brushed motor, for distributing the cooling air to the radiator and the condenser. The system has an electronic engine control unit which activates only the first electric blower when it determines that the cooling water temperature is less than T2, and activates both the first and second electric blowers when it determines that the cooling water temperature is T2 or higher. The water temperature is based on a detection output from a cooling water temperature sensor. Thus, since the electric blower is not activated unless the cooling water temperature becomes T2 or higher, use of the brushed motor is limited and its life is increased.
