Patent number: 8611761Abstract: New method to control the optical transmitter is disclosed. The optical transmitter provides both of the ATC feedback loop and the APC feedback loop. When a failure occurs in the ATC feedback loop and the temperature sensor is unable to output an adequate signal any longer, the optical transmitter cuts the APC loop and operates the LD in constant conditions. The output of the monitor PD is transferred to the ATC loop to control the TEC based on the optical output of the LD.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2011Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Sumitomo Electric Device Innovations, Inc.Inventors: Ryutaro Takei, Takeshi Irie, Tomoki Ito, Kazuhisa Ozaki, Masatsugu Togasaki

Patent number: 7650973Abstract: A hydraulic power transmission device includes a toroid portion, a turbine hub, and a lock-up device. The toroid portion includes a pump impeller and a turbine runner. The turbine hub is engaged with an input shaft of a transmission and holds the turbine runner. The lock-up device is installed so that it engages and disengages freely and it mechanically transmits to the turbine hub rotation that is transmitted from a drive power source. The toroid portion and the lock-up device overlap in the axial direction. Because the toroid portion and the lock-up device overlap in the axial direction, the size of the hydraulic power transmission device in the axial direction can be reduced, and the hydraulic power transmission device can be made more compact.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2006Date of Patent: January 26, 2010Assignee: Aisin AW Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazumasa Tsukamoto, Kazuhisa Ozaki, Takeshi Inuzuka, Mitsugu Yamashita, Atsuhiro Mase

Patent number: 7618344Abstract: A hydraulic control apparatus for a multi-stage automatic transmission includes solenoid valves such as the linear solenoid valves that are formed as normally closed valves. A first clutch apply relay valves that outputs a forward range pressure as a reverse input pressure during an all-solenoid-off mode, and a second clutch apply relay valve that switches between a left half position that inputs a reverse input pressure to a discharge port and a right half position that inputs the reverse pressure to the discharge port are provided. The second clutch apply relay valve is set to the right half position during normal engine startup and locked based on the lock pressure by feeding the line pressure as a lock pressure and is set at the left half position that interrupts the lock pressure after the engine is restarted during all-solenoids-off.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2006Date of Patent: November 17, 2009Assignees: Aisin AW Co., Ltd., Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takayuki Hayashi, Tetsuya Yamaguchi, Kazuyuki Noda, Minoru Todo, Kazuhisa Ozaki, Kazutoshi Nozaki, Atsushi Honda
