Abstract: A display system for an elevator includes: a speed detecting device that detects a speed of an elevator car; a position detecting device that detects a position of the car; an operation control system that outputs speed information, stop floor information, and car position information based on a speed detection signal and a position detection signal; and a display device that displays a plurality of floor names using a display control device based on the speed information, the stop floor information, and the car position information so that the plurality of floor names are displayed on a display unit in a continuous manner on a circumference of a predetermined shape, and displays the plurality of continuously displayed floor names so that display positions of the plurality of continuously displayed floor names are moved on the circumference of the predetermined shape in proportion to a moving speed of the car.

Abstract: In a destination registering apparatus for an elevator, a hall operating panel includes with a hall display device and a ten-key numerical input device. Information, i.e., the layout of a destination floor and a route to a destination point, stored in a storage device are selected by a selection circuit and displayed on a hall display device by inputting information, such as a room number or the like, to the ten-key numerical input device.
