  • Publication number: 20060208182
Abstract: A solid-state image sensing device has a printed board; a solid-state image sensing element fixed to the printed board; and a light-transmitting lid section fixed to the solid-state image sensing element so as to cover an image sensing area (effective pixel area). The printed board has a bore which penetrates through the printed board in a thickness direction thereof, at least a part of the light-transmitting lid section is fitted in the bore, and connecting terminals of the printed board are connected to connecting terminals of the solid-state image sensing element.

  • Publication number: 20060197864
Abstract: A solid-state imaging device which has a wiring substrate, a solid-state image sensor having a face opposite to a pixel area fixed to the wiring substrate, and a transparent cover fixed to the solid-state image sensor through an adhesive layer so as to oppose the pixel area of the solid-state image sensor. The wiring substrate has, on a side opposing the transparent cover, a cavity being provided with plural connecting terminals. The solid-state image sensor is fixed to a bottom face of the cavity in a state where the solid-state image sensor falls into the cavity. The connecting terminals of the cavity are connected with a connecting terminals of the solid-state image sensor, respectively through a wiring which falls into the cavity.

  • Patent number: 6969562
Abstract: A hydrogen-containing gas suitable for use in a fuel cell, especially in a proton exchange membrane fuel cell, is produced from a digestion gas (b) yielded in methane fermentation of organic matter (a), and is then supplied to the fuel cell to generate electricity. A fuel cell power generation method comprises a methane fermentation step (A) for subjecting organic matter to methane fermentation, a pretreatment step (B) for pretreating digestion gas yielded in the methane fermentation step, a hydrogen production step (C) for producing hydrogen-containing gas (c) from the gas which has been pretreated in the pretreatment step, and a fuel cell power generation step (D) for supplying the hydrogen-containing gas produced in the hydrogen production step to a fuel cell to generate electricity.

  • Publication number: 20050132883
Abstract: An acid gas scrubbing apparatus and method brings a gas, to be scrubbed, containing carbon dioxide into contact with a gas scrubbing liquid containing alkaline agent and cooled, and acid gases in the gas are removed. A gas scrubber removes acid gases in a gas, to be scrubbed, containing carbon dioxide by bringing the gas to be scrubbed into contact with a gas scrubbing liquid containing alkaline agent. A scrubbing liquid regenerator regenerates and cools the gas scrubbing liquid by bringing the gas scrubbing liquid into contact with a regenerating gas having components different from the gas scrubbing liquid and the gas to be scrubbed. A circulating device is provided between the gas scrubber and the scrubbing liquid regenerator for circulating the scrubbing liquid.

  • Patent number: 5276761
Abstract: A hollow waveguide for ultraviolet wavelength region laser beams incorporates a glass tube composed of a glass material exhibiting a high transmissivity with respect to ultraviolet rays and an excellent environment resistant property, and a metal film exhibiting a high reflectivity with respect to the ultraviolet rays and formed outside the glass tube. The glass tube serves as an inner surface of the waveguide. The ultraviolet wavelength region laser beams are transmitted while being reflected by the inner surface of the glass tube and by an interface between the glass tube and the metal film.

  • Patent number: 5262902
Abstract: A filter for absorbing radiation of a selected wave length emitted from a mercury vapor lamp is disclosed. The filter comprises a device for providing an ozone-containing gas layer positioned between the mercury vapor lamp and an object to be illuminated, which may be formed by providing a transparent space filled with the ozone-containing gas between the lamp and the object. This provides a relatively large sized filter which has a simple construction.
