  • Publication number: 20110188081
Abstract: In IC-tagged printed matter 200, image data is printed on IC-tagged paper and the image data of the printed image is stored in the IC tag. MFP 100C makes a judgment whether the document set by ADF 141 is an IC-tagged printed matter or not by means of IC tag reader 143A, reads out the image data from the IC tag of the document on the ADF by means of IC tag reader 143A without transporting the document, and prints it on conventional paper or IC-tagged printing paper by means of printing unit 151, when it is the IC-tagged printed matter. If it is to be printed on IC-tagged printing paper, it writes the printed image data on the IC tag of said IC-tagged printing paper by means of IC tag writer 152 simultaneously. Thus, high quality copies in which the attribute information of the printed matter is reflected can be obtained from the electronically tagged printed matter.

  • Publication number: 20100232678
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the molten state for enabling a molten state, butting state, or other state of electric-resistance-welded pipe on-line more accurately than in the past are provided. That is, a mirror 23 provided at a front end side inside a container 21 receives light emitted by the welded parts 5 of the tube-shaped steel strip 1 themselves through heat resistant glass 22 from the side direction and reflects the image of the welded parts 5 of the tube-shaped steel strip 1 in the direction of a relay lens 24 provided at a base end side of a relay lens unit 13. The relay lenses 24 relay the image of the welded parts 5 of the tube-shaped steel strip 1 to a conversion lens 12, then the conversion lens 12 forms that image on the imaging area of a CCD camera 11.

  • Patent number: 7417756
Abstract: Upon receiving a first e-mail, which is deprived of its attachment file due to a capacity limitation of mail server 21a, MFP 11a transmits a second e-mail containing its own IP address and a transfer request for transferring the attachment file to MFP 14a, which is the transmission source of the first e-mail, and other transmission destinations, MFP 12a and 13a. Of those MFPs which received the second e-mail, MFP 12a is accessible to MFP 11a via network 30 and transmits the attachment file to MFP 11a, and MFP 11a prints out the attachment file upon receiving it, according to an example configuration. The invention makes it possible to acquire and print out a file attached to an e-mail when it cannot be received directly due to the capacity limit of the mail server by obtaining it from the transmission source or from another transmission destination.

  • Publication number: 20060132816
Abstract: An image forming device makes a judgment on whether a bundling process for bundling a plurality of printed recording media is instructed or not, when a process for writing image data to be printed on the recording media into an electronic tag is instructed. The device selects only recording media each provided with an electronic tag as the recording media for printing and writes image data to be printed on each recording medium into the electronic tag of the corresponding recording medium, when the bundling process is not instructed. The device selects a recording medium provided with an electronic tag and a recording medium provided with no electronic tag as the recording media for printing and writes into the electronic tag of the recording medium with the electronic tag the entire image data to be printed on a plurality of recording media, when the bundling process is instructed.
