Abstract: There is disclosed a superimpose device for a single-lens reflex camera, which has a finder optical system including a focusing screen, a pentagonal roof type prism, and an eyepiece lens, a reflection plate which is arranged near the prospective imaging plane the finder optical system, and has micro-prisms forming a display portion, a plurality of light sources arranged near the vertex of the prism, and a projection optical element for deflecting illumination light from each light source by a reflection surface, and projecting the deflected light toward a front upper portion of the prism. The display portion illuminated with the illumination light via the prism, and light reflected by the display portion is guided to the eyepiece lens.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a driving apparatus arranged to perform driving control of a travelling member, such as a shutter member, by using a vibration wave motor. According to the present invention, the travelling member is arranged to be driven by the spring force of a spring member. The travelling member is held in a stopped state against the spring force by the stopping torque of the vibration wave motor, and by causing the vibration wave motor to generate a standing wave, the stopping torque is cancelled so that the travelling member starts travelling by the spring force.

Abstract: Carbostyril derivatives and salts thereof having excellent positive inotropic activity, increasing activity of coronary blood flow, as well as hypotensive activity in one hand, and also they do not have substantially increasing activity of heart beat as their characteristic property, as well as they have less side-effects in the central nervous system, such as they have less vomiting effect, decreasing effect in motor function and tremor effect.

Abstract: Carbostyril derivatives having antihistaminic action and central nervous controlling action are useful as antihistaminic agents or central nervous controlling agents. Abstract: Disclosed are carbostyril derivatives and their salts of the formulas ##STR1## The compounds have anti-peptic ulcer effects, and are useful as a treating agent for curing peptic ulcers in the digestive system, such as ulcers in the stomach and in the duodenum. The compounds particularly have prophylaxis and curing effects for treating chronic ulcers, for example experimental acetic acid-induced ulcers and cautery ulcers, with both low toxicity and few side-effects. Also disclosed are processes for preparing the compounds and for preparing pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
