    Abstract: Para-xylene is separated from a mixture of C8 aromatics using a simulated moving bed (SMB) adsorption process, wherein a MOF is used as an adsorbent and an alkane or alkene having 7 or less carbon atoms, such as hexane or heptane is used as desorbent. Because of the difference in boiling points of a hexane or heptane desorbent as compared to conventional desorbents such as toluene or para-diethylbenzene, less energy is required to separate hexane or heptane from C8 aromatics by distillation than the energy required to separate toluene or diethylbenzene from C8 aromatics by distillation.

The CMP composition comprises a colloidal silica abrasive suspended in an aqueous carrier having a pH of less than 2, and containing a primary oxidizing agent comprising hydrogen peroxide, a secondary oxidizing agent comprising a metal ion capable of reversible oxidation and reduction in the presence of NiP and hydrogen peroxide, a chelating agent, and glycine. The chelating agent comprises two or three carboxylic acid substituents capable of chelating to the metal ion of the secondary oxidizing agent.

By means of the measurement changes of the images, remote-distance obstacle avoidance in an extreme condition can be implemented, and problems such as poor stereo matching precision or unavailability of stereo matching in extreme cases such as no texture, low textures, and dense and repeated textures are resolved.

Because the camera apparatus performs a zooming operation quickly, it's no need to precisely obtain position and attitude information by using a Global Positioning System (GPS) and an onboard inertial device, which avoids measurement interference and a positioning error caused by the inertial device, thereby improves calculation precision.
