  • Publication number: 20120204384
Abstract: A slider of the invention has a slider body and a tab, and first and second tab attachment posts of the slider body rotatably retain an attachment shaft portion of the tab. Further, a cover body covering at least the first and second tab attachment posts is fixed to an upper blade of the slider body. In accordance with this, since the slider has a good touch feeling and an improved outer appearance, it is possible to construct a slide fastener which is excellent in quality. Further, in the case that the slider has a stop mechanism, the stop mechanism can be protected by the cover body, and it is accordingly possible to prevent a trouble in the stop mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20120167354
Abstract: In the reverse opening slide fastener, an insert pin includes a side edge arranged at a box pin side and a side edge arranged at a tape inner side. A first sloped section sloped in a direction to be apart from the box pin side toward the insert pin top end is formed at the side edge arranged at a box pin side. The first sloped section is formed as being intersected with an extension line obtained by extending a planar section of the side edge arranged at a tape inner side to the insert pin top end side and has a shape sloped at an angle to be contacted to a guide column of the lower slider or to be apart from the guide column when the insert pin is inserted to upper and lower sliders. Accordingly, in the reverse opening slide fastener, insertion operation of the insert pin can be smoothly performed.

  • Publication number: 20120124788
Abstract: A slide fastener includes a pair of first and second fastener stringers, a box pin, an insert pin, and a pair of first and second sliders. The box pin has a box pin body, a stopper portion arranged at a front end side of the box pin body, and suppressing portions projected on at least one of upper and lower surfaces of the box pin body to suppress sliding of the second slider. Further, the box pin body has a body region, and a notched region arranged at an element-row-side base end portion and having excluded a side surface portion at a side facing the insert pin. The suppressing portions are projected in only the notched region. With this arrangement, the second slider can be stably held at an insert-pin inserting position, and a subsequent insert operation or extract operation of the insert pin can be smoothly performed.

  • Publication number: 20120124787
Abstract: A slide fastener according to the invention includes a left-and-right pair of first and second fastener stringers, a box pin provided on the first fastener stringer, an insert pin provided on the second fastener stringer, and a pair of first and second sliders. The box pin has a box pin body, a stopper portion, and a ridge portion formed on the box pin body. Further, a chamfered portion is formed on an inner surface of at least one of the upper and lower wing plates of the first slider. The ridge portion is arranged at a position in close contact with the chamfered portion of the first slider when the first slider is stopped at the stopper portion. With this arrangement, it becomes possible to cause the user to be accustomed to securely slide the first slider to the normal insert-pin inserting position.

  • Patent number: 8056194
Abstract: The present invention provides a slider wherein a Y-shaped guide groove which allows a fastener chain to pass therethrough is provided in a body of a slider, the intermediate partition which is raised inward on both sides of a guide post and extends from an inside end of the guide post toward a rear mouth is provided on an inner surface of one of upper and lower blades, and a top surface of the intermediate partition is formed into an entirely inclined slope such that a shoulder mouth side is higher than a rear mouth side, thereby enabling to catch and introduce coupling heads of fastener elements exposed from the side edges of the fastener tapes, so that the coupling heads of the right and left fastener elements are engaged with each other between the guide post and the rear mouth.

  • Publication number: 20110258818
Abstract: A slider for slide fastener has a handle attachment/detachment column part projected upward from an upper face of a slider body and a pair of cantilever engagement pieces formed in a window part of a handle, and they are snap-engaged. An attachment/detachment part of the cantilever engagement piece and the handle attachment/detachment column part is provided with a head storage space (PS) storing and engaging an attachment/detachment head at the time of engaging the cantilever engagement piece and the attachment/detachment head. Thus, attachment/detachment of the handle attachment/detachment column part and the cantilever engagement piece becomes easy and the cantilever engagement piece of the handle is difficult to be damaged. Uncomfortable feeling by a projected end of the handle attachment/detachment column part and hooking of fiber do not exist and durability is given.

  • Publication number: 20110197402
Abstract: Provided is a slide fastener with a separable bottom end stop having both an automatic stopper and the separable bottom end stop, of which structural components can be used for both left- and right-insertions. In the slide fastener (10, 10A) with the separable bottom end stop equipped with both a slider with the automatic stopper and the separable bottom end stop, a stop pawl (55A) for the automatic stopper protruding into an element guide passage (51) via a pawl hole (54) is configured to be movable in the lateral direction to an insert pin (30) side and a box pin (40) side. Accordingly, when the insert pin (30, 30A) is inserted into the element guide passage through a shoulder opening of a top slider (50, 50A) to re-couple separated fastener stringers (16, 17), the stop pawl (55A) can be retreated by the insert pin (30, 30A) as being pushed. Accordingly, the insert pin (30, 30A) can be smoothly inserted deeply to the top slider (50, 50A) with small resistance force.

  • Publication number: 20110197403
Abstract: A slider (1) has a slider body (2), a tab (5), and a locking pawl (6) having a claw portion (61). An upper blade (21) of the slider body (2) has an insert groove (32) into which the locking pawl (6) is inserted, a temporary engagement portion (34) for temporary engaging and fixing the locking pawl (6), and a claw hole (37) formed so that the claw portion (61) can be inserted therethrough. The locking pawl (6) is provided such that the claw portion (61) can be inserted into and detached from an element guide lane (28) through the claw hole (37) by elevating and lowering the tab (5). The temporary engagement portion (34) is adapted so that, with the locking pawl (6) fixed in position, the position in height of the upper end of the temporary engagement portion (34) is the same as or lower than that of the upper surface of the upper blade (21). This prevents the temporary engagement portion (34) from being pressed and crushed when the temporary engagement portion is in contact with the tab (5) and other members.
