  • Publication number: 20040231114
Abstract: The invention provides a spring body for a slide fastener and a slider having the spring body mounted thereon, comprising: the spring body made of a platy material having an opening window portion at the opposite side of a pawl portion, and entirely formed in a lateral C-shape; a spring piece having a figuration that a longitudinal center portion of the platy material is cut out outward from a side end portion of a main body of the opening window portion to be pulled up at a required height in many steps, disposed between a rear surface of a pull holding body and a pull with elastic contact, and the pawl portion engaged with or released from a portion of a coupling element row by operating the pull through an inside of the slider body. Consequently, it can get the spring body enabling a material and manufacturing cost reduced, a stable and excellent productivity; a slider with an automatic stop function acquiring and realizing inexpensive structure, miniaturization, and simple assembly.

  • Publication number: 20040154144
Abstract: Fastener elements are attached to a side edge of a fastener tape composed of a knitting structure. An interval between the elements and a wale in the vicinity of the elements is formed into a thin knitted fabric. A flange on a side of a rear mouth of a slider is disposed on the thin knitted fabric and the slider is slid based on this section. For this purpose, an outer side of a bottom end face of the flange is cut out to provide with a notch portion, so that this portion is formed with a small width. Consequently, the thin knitted fabric is slid and introduced securely, and making a pressure contact with a surface of the wale is prevented. Even if a fastener is mounted on trousers and its fabric is pulled in a lateral direction forcibly to open, the elements are prevented from biting into a tape guide groove and escaping.

  • Publication number: 20040055119
Abstract: This invention relates to a concealed-type slider. Side walls are erected on both sides of a bottom plate of a body and a top end of each side wall is bent to form a flange. A guide portion is provided by forming a down-grade slope inclined from a leading end of a shoulder opening side of the flange between the flange and the side wall. The leading end of the flange provided with this guide portion is disposed at right angle to or tilted more or less toward a rear mouth side with respect to a side face of a guide post. Consequently, when an insert pin is inserted, the guide portion guides a fastener tape smoothly and when sliding the slider in its closing direction, the sliding operation can be executed smoothly.

  • Publication number: 20030079318
Abstract: A pull of a slider, which can be attached to a pull-attaching portion formed integrally on a slider body, and can be replaced easily. A pull-attaching portion is provided integrally on a slider body, and a pull-connecting ring has an opening on a side of its ring-like frame body. The size of the opening is formed not smaller than the thickness or width of the pull-attaching portion. Holding portions extending in parallel along side edges of the opening and a fitting protruded portion of the pull main body are fitted with each other and connected by a pin so as to be freely pivotable. Upon replacement of the pull, the pin is removed.

  • Publication number: 20030056342
Abstract: A slide fastener with a pull rotated type slider, which allows starting operation of the slider to be executed smoothly and easily. A U-shaped guide lever, which allows the pull to move around, is disposed on a periphery of a body of the slider. A guide face for an upper stopper of a pull guide portion with T-shaped section provided on the U-shaped guide lever is formed in an arc face or an inclined face. Consequently, even if the U-shaped guide lever and the upper stopper contact each other, the upper stopper can be guided smoothly by the guide face, thereby the slider being started easily.

  • Patent number: 5353480
Abstract: A decorative slider for slide fasteners has a slider body having a through mounting hole extending therethrough. A decorative plate has a through hole formed therethrough and placed on the slider body with the through hole aligned with the mounting hole. A retaining pin extends loosely through the through hole and is fitted in the mounting hole so as to attach the decorative plate to the slider body for diversifying the appearance of sliders without changing the whole appearance of the slider.

  • Patent number: 5297320
Abstract: A slider having a connection post which is not manufactured in a normal forming process such as a pressing process, can be certainly and firmly produced in a simple manufacturing process.A slider comprises a pair of wings which are individually formed. In one wing, a joining protrusion protrudes from a connecting post, and is provided with an engaging groove or plural engaging grooves. In the other wing, a joining hole is bored in the other connecting post. Therefore, the joining protrusion is interengaged with the joing hole. Then, a part of the material of the other wing is plastic-deformed and flows into the joining grooves to join the both wings integrally so as to provide a desired slider body.

  • Patent number: 5072502
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for feeding and applying end stops one at a time onto a slide fastener chain are disclosed. An elongated strip wound on a reel and carrying a multiplicity of prospective end stops serially interconnected by flexible connecting cords is cut successively across the cords to separate a leading end stop which is folded centrally about its transverse axis. The thus cut end stop is transferred onto and clamped in place over a beaded edge of a stringer tape with heat and pressure.

  • Patent number: 5031944
Abstract: An apparatus for blocking the release of a slide fastener caused by the movement of a slider. According to the preferable embodiment, this apparatus comprises a pair of sliders, which are provided with a pair of ring-projections respectively, and a pair of engaging members as a blocking member for supporting and ensuring the interlocking of the ring-projections. Then, a pair of studs are provided at the engaging members respectively. When the sliders arranged reversely are moved forwardly to be contacted with each other for closing the slide fastener, the ring-projections are interlocked so that the eyes of the both ring-projections are overlapped. Next, each stud is pushed into the overlapped eyes from each side and engaged to another stud in the eyes so as not to be removed and not to be pulled out. Therefore, the release of the slide fastener caused by the movement of the slider is surely blocked.
