  • Publication number: 20100251345
Abstract: A method is presented for selecting an HTTP authentication scheme at a client computer. A request message is sent from the client computer to a server computer to access information on the server computer. In response, the client computer receives a response message from the server computer. The response message includes an HTTP header that includes a first scheme identifier, indicating a first HTTP authentication scheme and a second scheme identifier, indicating a second HTTP authentication scheme. If the client computer does not support the second HTTP authentication scheme, the client computer uses the first HTTP authentication scheme when sending another HTTP message to the server computer. If the client computer supports the second HTTP authentication scheme, the client computer uses the second HTTP authentication scheme when sending another HTTP message to the server computer.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a hermetically sealed package is provided, the method comprising the steps of: using a laser to heat a frit, disposed in a pattern between two substrates, such that the heated frit forms a hermetic seal which connects the substrates and further comprising: directing the laser to enter the frit pattern, then to trace the frit pattern, then to retrace a portion of the frit pattern, and then to exit the frit pattern; and selecting an initial laser power which, when the laser enters the frit pattern, is insufficient to heat the frit to form a hermetic seal; then increasing the laser power over a first section of the frit pattern to a target laser power at least sufficient to heat the frit to form a hermetic seal; and then decreasing the laser power over a second section of the frit pattern until the laser power is insufficient to heat the frit to form a hermetic seal before the laser exits the frit pattern.

  • Patent number: 7612653
Abstract: A network outlet fixture providing wall-mounted LAN jacks. The fixture may include an in-wall power supply and be configured for mounting within a conventional multi-gang wall box. The power supply may be directly connected to an adjacent wall outlet, which serves as a power source, in the same or an adjacent wall box. The fixture may include both network switching and fiber-to-copper media converter functionality. The fixture may be configured to disconnect the power source upon removal of a face plate of the fixture. Further, the fixture may be configured to allow mounting of the jack-supporting structure in any one of several different positions relative to a remainder of the outlet fixture. This allows for presentation of the LAN jacks in a certain preferred orientation while permitting the remainder of the outlet fixture to be mounted in several different orientations relative to a wall.

  • Publication number: 20090227486
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for making starch encapsulated ingredients where a mixture of starch, water, acid and ingredient for encapsulation is prepared. The mixture is atomised and dried to provide encapsulates that can retain high levels of encapsulated ingredient. When the encapsulated ingredient comprises oil, the invention reduces the levels of free oil on the outside of the encapsulates and surprisingly reduces explosivity of fines produced during the manufacturing process. The preferred acid is citric acid.
