  • Publication number: 20100295507
Abstract: An oscillator provided in a charging cable outputs a non-oscillating signal when the potential of a pilot signal is around V(1), and outputs an oscillating signal when the potential of the pilot signal is lowered to V(2). A pull-down resistance element provided in the plug-in hybrid vehicle is connected between a control pilot line and a vehicle earth, and changes the potential of the pilot signal from V(1) to V(2). A switch is connected in series between the pull-down resistance element and the vehicle earth. When the charging cable is connected to the vehicle, the switch is turned off and the pull-down resistance element is separated from the vehicle earth.

  • Patent number: 7801535
Abstract: There is provided a positioning system which generates an appropriate response according to a positioning accuracy request class from a client device. A client device 101 specifies the positioning accuracy and the request class thereof that it requests to transmit a positioning request of a mobile station 103 to a server device 102. The server device 102 checks the positioning accuracy requested by the client device 101, and, if positioning results which satisfy the requested accuracy exist, responds the positioning results. If the positioning results which satisfy the requested accuracy do not exist, the server device 102 checks the accuracy request class, selects the positioning results with the highest positioning accuracy to respond to the client device 101 in the case of a second class (“Best Effort”), and notifies an error to the client device 101 in the case of a first class (“Assured”).

  • Publication number: 20100222082
Abstract: A base station selecting method of this invention includes the steps of causing each of a plurality of ID transmitters (102) provided in the communication range of a wireless base station (103) to transmit location ID information for identifying the installation location of the ID transmitter (102) by a near field wireless communication scheme, and when a wireless terminal device (101) has received the location ID information, determining a connection destination wireless base station (103) based on the received location ID information. This makes it possible to speed up search processing and switch processing of the wireless base station (103) while suppressing an increase in the cost of the wireless terminal device (101) and also facilitate coverage design and coverage change of the wireless base station (103).

  • Publication number: 20100213896
Abstract: A switch of a connecting circuit is connected between a signal line branched from an input terminal for a pilot signal in a charging inlet and a ground line connected to a vehicle earth, and is turned on/off in response to a control signal from a CPU. The CPU causes the switch to be turned on when a connector is not connected to the charging inlet, and detects a break in a control pilot line based on whether or not a change in the potential of the pilot signal occurs at that time.

  • Patent number: 7783297
Abstract: A location system comprises a communication terminal for transmitting a location request specifying a target mobile terminal and a type of location information, and a location network. In response to the location request, the location network produces current location information of the target mobile terminal if the type of location information of the received request specifies current location information and transmits the current location information to the communication terminal and stores the last known location information in a memory as last known location information of the target mobile terminal. If the type of location information specifies last known location information, stored last known location information of the target mobile terminal is copied from the memory and transmitted to the communication terminal if the location request is verified by a privacy check and if the stored information is reusable.

  • Patent number: 7777518
Abstract: A buffer circuit is provided between a gate terminal of a pull-down transistor and a threshold circuit receiving a gate signal as an input signal. A voltage applied to an output terminal of a power semiconductor element from an external battery power supply is supplied to the buffer circuit through a resistive element. The buffer circuit converts the level of an on-signal output from the threshold circuit into a voltage higher than the threshold of the pull-down transistor, so that the pull-down transistor operates surely to turn off the power semiconductor element even when the level of the gate signal is low. Thus, there is provided a semiconductor integrated circuit device having a power semiconductor element which can be turned off by sure operation of a pull-down semiconductor element.

  • Publication number: 20100121507
Abstract: A control device has a coupling determination sensor for detecting external connection of a charge table. When the connection of the charge cable is detected according to a signal from the sensor, the control device activates an electric device connected to a communication line of a charge-time-dedicated power supply system. Since the control device of the invention can activate only the electric device related to the charging while keeping electric devices not related to the charging at rest, and therefore prevents wasteful electric power consumption.
