  • Patent number: 7508109
Abstract: A commutator motor includes a stator and a rotor, and the stator includes a stator yoke and a field magnet. The field magnet is fixed onto the inner peripheral surface of the substantially cylindrical stator yoke. The stator yoke is configured by coaxially stacking a plurality of plate-like annular bodies, and the annular bodies are fixedly connected to each other by caulking at a caulking portion disposed on the annular body. In manufacture, the length of the stator yoke in the axial direction can be arbitrarily changed with the thickness of the annular body in the axial direction as a minimum unit. In case of manufacturing various stator yokes that are different in the axial length, the necessity of replacing a manufacturing machine is eliminated, thereby providing a commutator motor having the stator yoke which is low in the manufacturing costs.

  • Publication number: 20080218365
Abstract: Provided is a smoke detector having a structure in which, at a time of performing smoke detection, an S/N ratio of a signal of a light receiving element is improved, to thereby accurately detect occurrence of fire. At both end portions of an inside of an optical case (21) having a substantially cylindrical shape, a light emitting element (11) and a stray light portion (22) are arranged. In the stray light portion (22), a light trap (23) is provided. Further, in the vicinity of the light emitting element (11), a condenser lens (24) is provided to allow light L to incident on a curved surface of the light trap (23). At the time of smoke detection, light scattered by smoke particles in a smoke detection portion (25) is received by a light receiving element (12). However, the light incident on the light trap (23) is reflected on the curved surface a plurality of times to be attenuated in each reflection, so the light is not received by the light receiving element (12).

  • Publication number: 20080106842
Abstract: A mounting device includes a mounting body for sustaining a target object to be processed thereon; an electrostatic chuck disposed on the mounting body and having an electrode layer interposed between insulating layers, and the electrostatic chuck serving to electrostatically attract and hold the target object on a surface of the insulating layer by a electrostatic force generated between the electrode layer and the target object by a voltage applied to the electrode layer. Herein, an electrostatic chuck layer, which is one of the insulating layers on the side of a top surface of the electrode layer, is made of a plasma spray coating of yttrium oxide, which is formed by a plasma spraying, having a thickness of about 200 ?m to 280 ?m, and the electrostatic chuck layer has a surface roughness dependent on a particle diameter of the yttrium oxide used in the plasma spraying.

  • Patent number: 7289797
Abstract: To provide a mobile telephone terminal which is capable of mitigating burden on the user when telephone directory information is backed-up and reducing likelihood of erasure of the telephone directory information. If a user newly registers a telephone number list or changes or deletes the telephone number list stored in a telephone directory storage unit by actuating a key entry unit when telephone directory update notification mail transmission preset flag and automatic transmission preset flag are in the on-states, a control unit automatically transmits a telephone directory update notification mail in which update contents of the telephone directory information are described to a mail address which is stored in a transmission destination mail address area.

  • Publication number: 20070227107
Abstract: Air flow from an internal air/external air switching unit 10 passes through a by-pass passage 63 and flows into a heater core 41. Warm air is blown out from the heater core 41 and flows into a deodorizing filter 60. In the deodorizing filter 60, odor components are separated from a charcoal filter by the heat of the warm air, the odor components then flowing in the order of a discharging passage 66?an external air inlet port 12 of a vent switching unit 50?an external air intake port, and being discharged out of the vehicle room. Thus, by simply providing the by-pass passage 63, the discharging passage 66, and the doors 61, 68, the same heater unit 41 and blower unit 20 as in prior art can be used to separate odor components from the deodorizing filter.

  • Publication number: 20060176527
Abstract: In an image reading system, a photographic film is conveyed, an image frame is conveyed to a reading position, pre-scanned and fine scanned. An image obtained by pre-scanning is displayed on a display section. The film is conveyed after the inspection processing ends. Further, by using data output from six image surface detecting sensors disposed along a transverse direction of the film, inter-frame region candidates (edge candidates) are detected within an inspection range per frame. A region surmised to be between frames is detected from film light amounts input from the sensors. Edge slopes, the edges' density differences, are computed as evaluation values for detecting an edge to be used as a reference from among the candidates, and are compared. An edge having a largest density difference is extracted. With the extracted edge as a reference, an image frame position is determined while considering an image frame size.

  • Publication number: 20060070388
Abstract: In an air-conditioner control unit, when pollen mode control is set by a vehicle occupant to perform the pollen mode control that can provide a defogging effect while maintaining the pollen removal effect, the opening of an air inlet door is forcibly set to an inside-air introduction mode (S330) when the following two conditions hold: ambient temperature Tam is higher than a threshold (5 to 6° C.) set in a low-temperature region (S320), and a compressor system is able to operate normally without causing an abnormal pressure (S330). If even one of these conditions does not hold, the opening of the air inlet door is not forcibly set to the inside-air introduction mode, and the air inlet door is operated as in normal control. In this way, in the pollen mode control, since the pollen removal effect in the inside-air introduction mode is enabled only when the ambient air is relatively high, the occurrence of windshield fogging can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20060070387
Abstract: In an automotive air-conditioning system, when pollen mode control is effected by a vehicle occupant, air outlet mode is forcibly set to a face mode. Further, the air flow amount determined from the air flow amount Vm used in the usual auto mode and the air flow amount f(Tw) used during warm-up control or the air flow amount determined by the air flow amount correction value f(Tam) having a relatively small upper limit value when ambient temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature (15° C.), whichever is larger, is taken as the set value for the air flow amount in the pollen mode control. With this arrangement, when coolant temperature and ambient temperature are low, a relatively small amount of air can be blown to the upper part of the occupant's body, and thus, while maintaining the pollen removal effect, occupant discomfort can be reduced by preventing a fast flow of air from being blown toward the occupant's face, etc.
