  • Publication number: 20140020374
Abstract: In a hydraulic controller of driving force distribution device, including: a hydraulic circuit composed of an oil pump for supplying hydraulic fluid to a piston chamber of a clutch (or a driving force distribution device), an opening and closing valve installed in an oil passage between a check valve and the piston chamber, and an accumulator communicating to the piston chamber; control is performed so that the piston chamber reaches a target hydraulic pressure based on the 1st characteristic by closing the opening and closing valve and driving the oil pump at the time of pressurizing the piston chamber; and control is performed so that the piston chamber reaches a target hydraulic pressure based on the 2nd characteristic by prohibiting the driving of the oil pump along with opening the opening and closing valve.

  • Patent number: 8559536
Abstract: SP signals to be transmitted from a first transmitting antenna are arranged in the same pattern as SP signals to be transmitted from a second transmitting antenna. The SP signals to be transmitted from the second transmitting antenna in one symbol are generated, such that the polarity of the SP signals are alternately inverted and non-inverted with respect to the SP signals to be transmitted from the first transmitting antenna in the same symbol. Thus, in the direction that the symbol number is incremented by 1 and the carrier number is incremented by 3, the polarity of SP signals transmitted from the second transmitting antenna are all inverted or non-inverted with respect to the polarity of corresponding SP signals transmitted from the first transmitting antenna.

  • Patent number: 8547940
Abstract: A transmission method of a digital broadcast, which is compatible with a DVB-T terrestrial digital broadcast system in Europe, saves a battery in a mobile terminal. Superframes in DVB-T are divided into units each including plural symbols so that an integer number of TS packets can be carried in each slot. At least one slot is used to transmit one service. Energy dispersion, Reed-Solomon coding, byte interleaving, convolutional coding, and time interleaving are applied to each service. When services for mobile terminal reception and services for fixed terminals are transmitted as the provided services, null packets may be transmitted before and after the slot carrying the mobile receiver service so that the fixed reception service and the mobile reception services are not mixed.

  • Patent number: 8416844
Abstract: A synchronization section specifies a position of a guard interval correlation's center of gravity based on a guard interval correlation value, and calculates a carrier-direction shift amount Fshift. An equalization section shifts the passband of a carrier interpolation filter of a carrier interpolation section by the carrier-direction shift amount Fshift calculated by the synchronization section. This shift processing causes the delay profile to be kept in the center of the passband of the carrier interpolation filter, for any FFT window position. This enables transmission path estimation without limiting a range of an FFT window position even if the passband of the carrier interpolation filter is narrower than a guard interval of an OFDM signal.

  • Patent number: 8371413
Abstract: A control device for a power transmitting device for four-wheel drive hybrid-vehicle is provided capable of preventing the occurrence of negative torque resulting from power generation control of a second electric motor MG2. Drive-force control executes a control such that rear-wheel output torque Tpr of rear wheels falls in a positive torque when first and second electric motors MG1 and MG2execute power generation controls, thereby preventing torques of front and rear wheels from orienting in different directions. Accordingly, the front and rear wheels have torques oriented in the same direction, thereby favorably preventing discomfort feeling during a vehicle running.

  • Patent number: 8315319
Abstract: A transmitter modulates for each symbol period a plurality of carriers that include a carrier group that consists of a plurality of prescribed carriers, and repeatedly transmits control information in cycles by using the carrier group. The transmitter transmits multiple-bit binary data of the control information in each symbol period, thereby transmitting the control information once in each of the cycles that includes at least one symbol period. The transmitter controls the transmission unit to switch, within the carrier group, for each of the cycles, carriers of bits of the control information, according to a prescribed rule.

  • Patent number: 8275056
Abstract: A channel characteristic calculation unit 23 estimates channel characteristics based on SP signals included in received signals, and a symbol interpolation filter 24 frequency-shifts frequency transfer characteristics and filters output signals of the channel characteristic calculation unit 23. A filter control unit 27 estimates channel characteristics based on CP signals included in the received signals and observes the estimated channel characteristics to determine a shift amount by which the symbol interpolation filter 24 frequency-shifts the frequency transfer characteristics. The symbol interpolation filter 24 frequency-shifts the frequency transfer characteristics based on the shift amount determined by the filter control unit 27.

  • Patent number: 8110662
Abstract: A cDNA fragment participating in the maintenance of smooth muscle differentiation was isolated using a culture system of chicken gizzard smooth muscle cells, the differential display method and the subtracted hybridization method. Using the obtained cDNA sequence as a query, cDNA sequences of Helix Research Institute (Japanese Patent Application No. 2000-118776) were retrieved, and thus, a novel gene “C-NT2RP3001495” was obtained. The protein encoded by this gene has two WW domains that participate in protein interactions in the N-terminal domain. Evidence suggests that this protein binds to other proteins, and thus regulates the intracellular signal transduction, gene expression, and so on, thereby participating in the maintenance of the differentiation of smooth muscle cells. This protein and compounds regulating the expression thereof are markedly useful in developing drugs for various diseases associated with abnormality in the maintenance of smooth muscle cell differentiation.

  • Patent number: 8052564
Abstract: A differential gear unit has a pinion gear that can spin as well as revolve, a differential case that has a pinion retaining portion that supports the pinion gear, and a pair of side gears that mesh with the pinion gear. Frictional force generated at a portion where the pinion gear contacts the pinion retaining portion when the rotation speed of one side gear is faster than the rotation speed of the other side gear is different from the frictional force generated between the pinion gear and the pinion retaining portion when the rotation speed of the one side gear is slower than the rotation speed of the other side gear.
