    Abstract: A table saw includes a table capable of supporting a workpiece, a cutting unit and a positioning fence. The positioning fence has a positioning surface for supporting the workpiece. The positioning surface is divided into an upper positioning surface and a lower positioning surface that are positioned above the table. First slide fences allocated to the lower positioning surface and second slide fences allocated to the upper positioning surface are slidably supported in a table surface direction relatively independent from each other. The positioning surfaces of the first and second slide fences constitute an entire region of the positioning surface. In this way, the entire region of the positioning surface is made to be slidable in accordance with various operation modes.

The blocking part prevents the air discharged from the outlet from flowing out laterally with respect to the moving direction of the base through a clearance between a front end of the second region and the one end of the angular plate and thereby helps the air discharged from the outlet flow into the opening.

    Abstract: A portable terminal has one casing with a display unit and a speaker coupled to another casing with an operation unit and a microphone. The casings connect via a coupling unit and are capable of opening or closing by means of the coupling unit. The face of the casing with the speaker is directed in the same direction as the face of the casing with the microphone. The coupling unit enables one casing to be inclined to the other casing and to rotate around an axis substantially perpendicular to the face of the other casing with a microphone. Opening the casings increases the sound collecting rate of the microphone during a phone call and prevents a top face of the operation unit from being rubbed or scratched by the other.
