  • Patent number: 4950179
Abstract: A locking security mechanism for an electrical connector having a pair of male and female connector members, locking means and a locking security member mounted in a male connector member in a normally undetachable manner and maintained in a pre-engagement position with a pre-engagement releasing means in a female connector member. When the male and female connector members are engaged with each other, actuating fingers in the female connector member act on a inclined lower surface of pre-engagement fingers in the locking security member to escape the pre-engagement.

  • Patent number: 4946404
Abstract: A locking security mechanism for an electrical connector having a pair of male and female connector members, locking arm member with the locking opening and a locking security member mounted in a male connector member in a normally undetachable manner and maintained in a pre-engagement position with a pre-engagement releasing means in a female connector member. When the male and female connector members are engaged with each other, actuating fingers in the female member act on a inclined lower surface of pre-engagement fingers in the locking security member to escape the pre-engagement.

  • Patent number: 4946398
Abstract: Described herein is a connector terminal retainer which is connectible to a rear portion of a connector housing to anchor terminal members in the respective terminal compartments in the connector housing. The terminal retainer is provided with; a pair of locking arms extending forward from opposite side walls of the terminal retainer body for engagement in socket portions in the connector housing, and constituted by a pair of vertical resilient portions extending parallely on opposite sides of a gap space formed in the longitudinal direction of the arm and a horizontal resilient portion extending over and along the gap space on the outer side of the vertical resilient portions; and provisional and main locking projection provided in longitudinally shifted positions on the vertical and horizontal resilient portions of the locking arms of interlocking engagement with corresponding jocking portions in the socket portions of the connector housing.

  • Patent number: 4932899
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing having a terminal-receiving chamber. When a terminal is fully inserted in the chamber, the terminal is lockingly engaged with an elastic retainer arm mounted within the chamber, so that the terminal is prevented from withdrawal from the chamber. A spacer is inserted into the chamber so as to be received in a space formed between the retainer arm and an inner surface of the chamber. The spacer is elastically deformable by the housing when the spacer is inserted into the chamber. The terminal is engageable with the retainer arm to elastically deform the same to reduce the space when the terminal is incompletely inserted in the chamber, so that the spacer in its deformed condition is prevented from being inserted into the space.

  • Patent number: 4800358
Abstract: A fuse to be connected to cable terminals with bolts comprises an electrical insulating housing, a fuse-element disposed in the housing and a pair of fuse contacts each connected at one end to both ends of the fuse element, respectively, and the other ends of the fuse contacts being protruded from the bottom of the housing in parallel with each other, and a notch to which a bolt for connecting a cable terminal to the fuse contact is fitted therein is formed in each fuse contact, and the notch is extended from the other end of the fuse contact toward the other end thereof. The fuse can be replaced without removing the bolt due to the provision of the notches in the fuse contacts, so that the operation efficiency when replaced is improved.
