  • Publication number: 20180314987
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a processing station (10) for registering a passenger's luggage for a trip. The processing station (10) comprises an injector (14) for receiving a piece of luggage associated with the passenger. A plurality of sensors (16a-16i) are associated with the injector. A weighing machine (18) is also associated with the injector (14) for weighing the piece of luggage whilst in the injector (14). The luggage processing (station 10) also comprises a user interface (20) for receiving various inputs for confirming that a passenger has checked-in and to display information to the passenger during processing of the piece of luggage. A controller (28) is associated with the sensors (16a-16i) and weighing machine (18) and the user interface (20).

  • Publication number: 20180288511
Abstract: An assembly may include a speaker supportable for movement relative to a reference external to the speaker and a speaker housing supporting speaker components operable to produce an audio output. A sensor is operable to sense a direction of movement of the speaker during movement of the speaker relative to the reference. Control components are operable to control the speaker components based on the direction of movement of the speaker relative to the reference. When the speaker is sensed to be moving in a first direction relative to the reference, an operational characteristic of the speaker components is controlled to increase or advance during movement in the first direction. When the speaker is sensed to be moving in a second direction relative to the reference different from the first direction, the operational characteristic of the speaker components is controlled to decrease or retreat during movement in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20180255068
Abstract: Described embodiments protect clients from open redirect security vulnerabilities in Web applications. A primary application receives a request for an operation to be performed on behalf of a secondary application. The request includes a return location parameter containing i) a return location, and ii) an encrypted portion. After completing the requested operation, the primary application retrieves the return location parameter and a cryptographic key uniquely associated with the secondary application. The primary application decrypts the encrypted portion of the return location parameter to generate a decrypted value, and uses the decrypted value to validate the return location contained in the return location parameter. The primary application transmits a redirect message to the client that causes the client to be redirected to the return location contained in the return location parameter only in response to the return location being successfully validated based on the decrypted value.

  • Patent number: 9940588
Abstract: A luggage processing station for registering a passenger's luggage. The station includes an injector for receiving a piece of luggage associated with the passenger. A plurality of sensors are associated with the injector. A weighing machine is also associated with the injector for weighing the luggage while in the injector. The processing station also includes a user interface for receiving various inputs for confirming that a passenger has checked-in and to display information to the passenger during processing the luggage. A controller is associated with the sensors and weighing machine and the user interface. The controller is adapted to accept the luggage if the input received via the passenger's boarding pass or identification indicate that the passenger has checked-in, feedback from the sensors indicates that predetermined criteria are met, and if feedback from the weighing machine indicates that weight of luggage is within a predetermined limit.

  • Patent number: 9932139
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a liquid is disclosed. The dispenser comprises an outlet for dispensing a liquid, a reservoir for liquid, and a closure configured to engage with the dispenser and movable between a closed position in which the outlet is enclosed and an open position in which the outlet is not enclosed. The dispenser further comprises an arrangement for controlling liquid communication between the reservoir and the outlet, the arrangement and reservoir movable with respect to each other between a first configuration in which the reservoir is not in liquid communication with the outlet and a second configuration in which the reservoir is in liquid communication with the outlet. By requiring a second movement after removal of the closure accidental access or dispensing of the contents may be avoided or reduced.
