  • Patent number: 11327090
Abstract: In example implementations, a method is provided. The method may be executed by a processor of a fluid dispensing apparatus. The method includes dispensing a fluid onto a surface from a dispenser during an alignment procedure. The surface is ejected for alignment verification. The surface is then received for re-execution of the alignment procedure after the alignment verification. The dispenser is re-used to dispense fluid onto the surface during re-execution of the alignment procedure.

  • Patent number: 11135369
Abstract: This disclosure teaches the concept, and method of creating, a dual use device intended for persons who take insulin. In one embodiment, the novel device is an insulin delivery cannula, the outer wall of which contains electrodes, chemical compounds and electrical interconnects that allow continuous glucose sensing and delivery of data to a remote device. Heretofore, the main problem in attempting to sense glucose at the site of insulin delivery has been the high current resulting from oxidation by the sensor of the preservatives in the insulin formulations. One means of eliminating these interferences is to poise the indicating electrode(s) of the sensor at a bias sufficiently low to avoid the signal from oxidation of the preservatives. One way of obtaining a glucose signal at a low bias is to use an osmium-ligand-polymer complex instead of conventional hydrogen peroxide sensing.

  • Publication number: 20210100422
Abstract: A conveyor type ware washing machine uses a heat pump to reduce exhaust heat and to heat incoming water. A modulating valve is used to control incoming water flow through a heat exchanger of the heat pump. Processing circuitry automatically dynamically adjusts the modulating valve between a plurality of open states based on the sensed refrigerant head pressure of the heat pump, so that the refrigerant head pressure is maintained in a predefined range. The ware washing machine is efficient, and reduces the amount of heat exhausted to ambient. Related methods are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210060543
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to a device. Examples to determine a dispense routine for a default dilution of a compound according to a dispense request identifying a second dilution of the compound, and a dispense engine to control the dispense device to dispense at least a portion of the default dilution of the compound according to the dispense routine.
