  • Publication number: 20100176896
Abstract: A coaxial to transmission line connector has a connector and an attachment area with a windowed electrical attachment point that when soldered in place on a ground reference of an electrical device, creates an electrical and mechanical connection between an outer conductor of the coaxial to transmission line connector. The attachment area has at least one mechanical alignment point and a corresponding reference pivot point located substantially co-planar at the termination of the coaxial dielectric region at an edge of a PCB and a port of the coaxial to transmission line connector. The at least one mechanical alignment point and the corresponding reference pivot plane serve to automatically align the coaxial to transmission line connector to the electrical device. Opposite the attachment area is a dielectric area following termination of the outer conductor in the transition area of the microstrip transmission line.

  • Patent number: 7476191
Abstract: A die cutting/scoring apparatus has die cutting/scoring and blanket covered steel anvil roller pairs arranged in sections some of which sections displace to permit dismounting of and changing die cutting/scoring rule members or printing members mounted on plywood substrates, which are bolted to a roller. The roller pairs also convey sheet material being processed through the sections. Sheet material pliable drive members are provided which replace the die cutting rule members or printing members on a roller in an idle section. The drive members comprise pliable magnetic substrates made of vinyl, rubber or elastomeric material which magnetically attach to a corresponding steel roller that is being idled. A pliable compressible foam or other rubber or plastic material high friction drive engagement member is bonded to the substrate forming a strip which is easily and quickly wrapped about a roller.

  • Patent number: 7469343
Abstract: A security module and method implements data requests from a USB or other similar device, in which a secure component can communicate securely with a device without modifying the underlying USB bus protocol, or the device, even where the software controlling the bus is untrusted. A security module (physically separate or integrated into a device or hub) intercepts data being sent from device to secure component in response to a data request. A “not acknowledged” signal is sent to the secure component, and the data is encrypted. The next data request is intercepted, and the encrypted data sent in response. The acknowledgement from the secure component to the device is allowed to reach the device. In order to handle a setup request, an allow command is sent to the security module, which includes the encrypted and unencrypted setup command. If an encryption check is successful, a setup command sent to the device (via the security module) is allowed to reach the device.

  • Publication number: 20080291855
Abstract: A meshing network comprising one full function controller (WDC) and a plurality of nodes (WDN, WSN), that is RF quiet capable with very low power consumption and the ability to quickly heal itself and create new network paths. The network uses an addressing scheme that allows for each node to not have a network map but still be able to route messages. A piping scheme allows a mesh to become a high throughput network. A sensor rail protocol definition allows sensor devices to connect to nodes and route messages through the network.
