  • Publication number: 20240276077
Abstract: In various embodiments, a manifest customization application selects one or more video streams that are derived from a first video source file and are included in a media package for a media title for inclusion in a video track. After generating a manifest file that itemizes the video track and indicates that an alternate video track can be made available, the manifest customization application transmits the manifest file to a client device. Upon receiving a request from the client device to generate an alternate manifest file that itemizes the alternate video track, the manifest customization application selects one or more video streams that are derived from a second video source file and are included in the media package for inclusion in the alternative video track. After generating the alternate manifest file based on the alternate video track, the manifest customization application transmits the alternate manifest file to the client device.

  • Publication number: 20240276076
Abstract: In various embodiments a media processing pipeline generates and distributes streams for playback. The media processing pipeline encodes a first video source file that is associated with a media title to generate a first video stream set. The media processing pipeline encodes a second video source file that is associated with the media title to generate a second video stream set. The media processing pipeline generates first video metadata for the first video stream set and second video metadata for the second video stream set. The first video metadata and the second video metadata include different sets of values for a set of video characteristics. The media processing pipeline generates a media package that includes the first video stream set, the first video metadata, the second video stream set, and the second video metadata. The media processing pipeline transmits the media package to at least one server device.

  • Publication number: 20200339378
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for imparting a force during operation of a wire bobbin comprises a main shaft for receiving a wire bobbin, and a brake element operably coupled to the main shaft. The system may further comprise an adjustment assembly comprising an adjustment block and at least one adjustment spring, wherein the at least one adjustment spring is biased to provide a force on the adjustment block in a vertically-upward direction. The adjustment block may be operably coupled to the main shaft, such that a mass of the main shaft imposed upon the adjustment block combined with resistance of the at least one adjustment spring determines a vertical position of the main shaft and the brake element. A brake assembly may provide a brake force on the brake element, wherein the brake force is imparted to the main shaft via the brake element.

  • Publication number: 20190171767
Abstract: Machine learning techniques are used to improve internet website and domain monitoring technology by classifying content using a trained algorithm. Based on crawling the web pages of a site, a machine learning classifier can be used to determine a composite content score for the website. Changes in the composite content score can be evaluated over time via multiple samplings of the website using the trained machine learning classifier. Additional weighting information can also be used as a factor in measuring website content change over time. Various change thresholds can be used with output of a machine learning classifier to determine content shifts over time.
