  • Publication number: 20160227757
Abstract: Fly Balls repel files because flies are frightened and confused by the multiple thousands of reflective images they see whenever they are in a Fly Balls' no flies zone. A combination of a flies 4,000 eyes; faceted bead(s) reflections; and multiple water molecule reflections create a visual reflective predator threat to a fly.

  • Publication number: 20160144562
Abstract: Methods of making interior panels having integrated airbag deployment doors for motor vehicles are provided. In one example, a method of making an interior panel comprises contacting a molten resin in a molding tool cavity with a plurality of juxtaposed pressurized gas streams to form a series of holes, bubbles, knit lines, or combinations thereof in the molten resin. The molten resin is solidified to form a substrate. The series of holes, bubbles, knit lines, or combinations thereof define a frangible tear seam in the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20150191111
Abstract: A vehicle seat having a bottom frame, a seat back connected to the frame, and an armrest capable of upward and downward movement. The armrest includes a seat bracket connecting the armrest to the frame and a vertically variable adjustment mechanism. The mechanism has a control disposed in the armrest, a lock actuated to an engaged or disengaged position by the control, a rack disposed in a generally vertical direction, and a one-way bearing acting as pinion and having two rotational states. The first rotational state is a locked state where the lock is engaged and prevents the one-way bearing from rotating, preventing the rack and armrest from a downward movement. The second rotational state is a free state where the lock is in the engaged position and a force is applied in the upward direction, the one-way bearing can rotate, allowing the rack and armrest an upward movement.

  • Patent number: 8616372
Abstract: A recyclable blister pack system is provided, including a substrate having a dry tack cohesive adhesive layer deposited on one of its surfaces and a blister layer for receiving a product. The properties of the dry tack cohesive are selected so the blister layer is separable from the substrate without leaving substantial substrate residue on the blister layer. This improves the recyclability of the blister layer.

  • Publication number: 20130342216
Abstract: Power generating component connectivity testing methods and apparatus are disclosed. At a power generating component, a connectivity testing condition is detected. A connectivity testing procedure is performed on detection of the connectivity testing condition, to test connectivity in a system that includes the power generating component and an unpowered electrical system. Connectivity is tested before the electrical system is connected to a power grid. An indication of connectivity can be provided by receiving connectivity information indicating connectivity between power generating components and the unpowered electrical system; and providing a representation of the connectivity between the power generating testing procedure components and the electrical system. This representation could include, for example, one or more of: a connectivity alert, a visual representation of the power generating components; and a visual representation of the electrical system.

  • Patent number: 8163188
Abstract: A method of forming a patterned functional layer on a substrate using a poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) lift-off layer is described. The method can be used with substrates that would not tolerate the organic solvents required for processing of known poly(methyl methacrylate) lift-off layers. When used in combination with known nanoimprint lithography and step-and-flash imprint lithography techniques, the method can be used to generate patterned functional structures with dimensions as small as five nanometers.
