  • Patent number: 7953381
Abstract: A radio receiving apparatus for a vehicle includes a radio receiver, a control circuit, a storage device, a manual switch. The radio receiver receives a radio broadcast signal at a predetermined reception frequency. The control circuit records sound information contained in the received broadcast signal on the storage device and plays back the recorded sound information from a predetermined playback position. The manual switch is used to manually change the reception frequency. The control circuit automatically changes the reception frequency when a predetermined condition is met. The control circuit determines whether the reception frequency is changed manually or automatically. When the reception frequency is manually changed, the control circuit sets the playback position to a position corresponding to when the change of the reception frequency is completed.

  • Publication number: 20110005868
Abstract: A load port apparatus is disclosed wherein the total period of time of operation of a lid member mounting and dismounting apparatus and a mapping apparatus is minimized while avoiding interference of the two apparatus with each other. An interference avoiding sensor apparatus is provided on the lid member mounting and dismounting apparatus and the mapping apparatus and detects that a lid member suction plate of the lid member mounting and dismounting apparatus is disposed at a position lower by a value exceeding a preset value than the arm to which the mapping sensors are attached to enable pivotal motion of the arm without interfering with the lid member suction plate. Then, immediately after the preset value is detected by the interference avoiding sensor apparatus, the arm is pivoted to the mapping position to start the mapping.

  • Patent number: 7532980
Abstract: A user selects as a guide route a route from among multiple routes retrieved under respective predetermined retrieval conditions. A retrieval condition under which the route selected by the user was retrieved is stored in an external memory. When a zone affecting driving is recognized along the guide route based on externally acquired information on traffic, a dynamic route that bypasses the zone affecting driving is retrieved according to the retrieval condition stored in the external memory. The retrieved dynamic route is then designated as a guide route.

  • Patent number: 5073796
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a heat source, e.g., a lamp or a printed circuit board, and a fixing unit. A flow of air is circulated by a fan in a housing of the image forming apparatus. A cooling face of a cooling mechanism contacts the flow of air so that the flow of air is cooled. During the circulation of air, air cools the heat source. The cooling mechanism emits heat out of the image forming apparatus in response to cooling, without admitting air from outside of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5057074
Abstract: Peritoneal dialysis uses a system comprising (A) a first tube having a first connector attached thereto at one end and (B) a second tube connected to a dialysis fluid bag and having a second connector attached thereto at a free end, both the first and second tubes requiring to be in a sterile condition when connected. A medical container may be replaced by connecting the first connector to the second connector to provide fluid communication between the first and second tubes for allowing dialysis to be carried out, sealing the second tube at one or more positions at the end of dialysis, and cutting the second tube at a position nearer to the medical container with respect to the seal. The suspending section of the second tube with the second connector kept connected to the first connector serves as an antibacterial protective accessary for maintaining the connector connection in a sterile condition.

  • Patent number: 4153910
Abstract: Header leads in a molded semiconductor device according to this invention are composed of electrode portions for securing a semiconductor pellet, and lead portions for connection. Each of the electrode portions is constructed of two tabular header portions separated from each other, and a columnar neck portion coupling both the header portions between opposing surfaces thereof. The lead portion is joined to one of the tubular header portions so that the lead portion and the columnar neck portion may extend coaxially. The cross-sectional area of the columnar neck portion in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the axis is larger than the cross-sectional area of the lead portion in the orthogonal direction. The semiconductor pellet is secured to the other header portion of each electrode portion. A mold material covers the entire periphery of the device from the semiconductor pellet to the one header portion of the electrode portion.
