    Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for utilizing sensor data to determine the results of events within a system. Upon receiving sensor data indicative of an event, the sensor data is analyzed to determine a result of the event. For instance, a user may identified upon entry to a facility, may pick items from shelves in the facility, and may be identified upon exit. Contents of a virtual shopping cart of the user may be maintained based on analysis of the sensor data as the user picks the items. When a user exits, a payment instrument of the user may be charged for a cost of the items and a receipt may be sent to a device of the user. A state-invariant time, representing a time before which all events have been processed, may be maintained such that no shopping sessions are finalized prior to the state-invariant time to avoid mistaken charges.

    Abstract: An integrated circuit die includes a silicon chromium (SiCr) thin film resistor disposed on a first oxide layer. The SiCr thin film resistor has a resistor body and a resistor head. A second oxide layer overlays the SiCr thin film resistor. The second oxide layer has an opening exposing a surface of the resistor head. A metal pad is disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer and is contact with the surface of the resistor head exposed by the opening. Further, an interlevel dielectric layer is disposed on the second oxide layer overlaying the SiCr thin film resistor. A metal-filled via extends from a top surface of interlevel dielectric layer through the interlevel dielectric layer and contacts the metal pad disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer.

The pre-combustion chamber system includes a flow agitator arranged in the pre-combustion chamber housing protruding into the pre-combustion chamber. The flow agitator increases flow disturbance in the pre-combustion chamber for improving mixture of fuel and air. Cooling of the pre-combustion chamber system is improved by dividing the cooling chamber into a cooling inner chamber and a cooling outlet chamber or by arranging cooling fins in the pre-combustion chamber housing extending into the cooling chamber.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a device, comprising forming portions of electronic circuitry and a shadow wall structure over a substrate, and subsequently depositing a conducting layer over the substrate by angled deposition of a conducting material in at least a first deposition direction at an acute angle relative to the plane of the substrate. The shadow wall structure is arranged to cast a shadow in the deposition, leaving areas where the conducting material is not deposited. The shadow wall structure comprises one or more gaps each shorter than a shadow length of a respective part of the shadow wall structure casting the shadow into the gap, to prevent the conducting material forming in the gaps and to thereby create regions of said upper conducting layer that are electrically isolated from one another. These are arranged to form conducting elements for applying signals to, and/or receiving signals from, the electronic circuitry.
