  • Publication number: 20220138150
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing data in a file system over a network. A source file system and a target file system associated based on a replication relationship associated with snapshot policies. Snapshots may be generated on the source file system based on snapshot policies such that each snapshot is an archive of the source file system. The snapshots may be added to a queue on the source file system that may be associated with the replication relationship such that the snapshot is associated with a snapshot retention period that is local to the source file system and a remote replication retention period based on the replication relationship. Copying the snapshot to the target file system based on the remote replication retention period being unexpired.

  • Publication number: 20220121761
Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for better managing internal access by sales agents to electronic contact records by limiting access to records already associated with other agents. A request for access is received and a search is performed. If the record does not exist, the agent is allowed to create it. If the record exists and there is no associated agent or if the requesting agent is the associated agent, the agent is allowed to access it. If the record exists and is associated with another agent, the requesting agent is required to enter an identifying piece of information about the contact, the entered information is matched with the correct information stored in the database, and if they match, the agent is allowed to access to the record. A limit may be set on the time during which the agent is allowed to access the record before renewing the request.

  • Publication number: 20220035716
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing data in a file system over a network. A source file system that includes a plurality of objects may be provided. A replication job that copies each object associated with a source replication snapshot to a target file system may be executed. The replication job may be associated with a job identifier. Recovery point information that includes the job identifier, a source snapshot number that corresponds to the source replication snapshot, a target snapshot number that corresponds to a target replication snapshot may be generated. The recovery point information may be stored on the source file system and a copy of the recovery point information may be stored on the target file system. The recovery point information or the copy of the recovery point information may be employed to recover from errors detected during execution of a next replication job.

  • Publication number: 20220000418
Abstract: Digital imaging systems and methods are described for analyzing pixel data of an image of a shaving stroke for determining pressure being applied to a user's skin. A plurality of training images of a plurality of individuals are aggregated, each of the training images comprising pixel data of a respective individual when shaving with a shaving razor. A pressure model, trained with the pixel data, is operable to determine pressure being applied to the respective individual's skin. An image of a user when shaving with the shaving razor is received and analyzed, by the pressure model, to determine a user-specific pressure being applied to the user's skin by the shaving razor when a user shaving stroke is taken. A user-specific electronic recommendation to address at least one feature identifiable within the pixel data is generated and rendered, on a display screen of a user computing device.

  • Patent number: 11207679
Abstract: A DNA extraction device may include a substrate, at least one first side channel electrode, at least one second side channel electrode, optionally, at least one elongate central channel electrode, and a voltage source connected between the electrodes. The substrate defines an elongate central channel defining a major axis. A width of the elongate central channel is greater than its depth, and its depth is less than about 15 times a diameter of a cell to be introduced in the elongate central channel. The substrate also defines first and second side channels adjacent to the elongate central channel on opposite sides of the major axis. The substrate further defines first and second trapezoidally shaped connecting channels connecting the elongate central channel and the first and second side channels, respectively. The smaller parallel sides of the first and second trapezoidally shaped connecting channels open to the respective side channels.

  • Patent number: 11196653
Abstract: In some embodiments, an amount of aggregated bandwidth consumption for a set of computing devices on a network may be determined for a first time period. An amount of available bandwidth on the network may be determined for the first time period. A ratio of the amount of aggregated bandwidth consumption to the amount of available bandwidth may be determined. A bandwidth threshold may be determined based on the ratio. A rate limit for a first computing device (of the set of computing devices) may be set based on a comparison of the bandwidth threshold to bandwidth consumption of the first computing device.

  • Patent number: 11160595
Abstract: The invention relates to a delivery system, device and method for delivering biomaterials for fracture fixation (including augmented fixation), in particular, for delivery of bone cements. The mixing system ensures the biomaterial only commences setting upon extrusion from the mixer, cannula or during injection through an appropriate internal fracture fixation device, allowing for rapid closing by the surgeon. The system also permits the surgeon to cease injecting the cement for an extended period of time before continuing the injection in another area using the same cartridge, through the simple removal of one mixer and attaching another in its place. The invention also provides a method of delivery of biomaterials to a desired implantation site.
