  • Patent number: 12147983
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to a modified device configuration for disposing a NFC compatible user card within a NFC field of a user mobile device so as to enable continuous proximity monitoring based on a status of an NFC link established between the card and the mobile device. The modified device configuration may be utilized to implement card tracking functionality by using a mobile application, running on the mobile device, to generate a timestamp upon detection of change in a connectivity status of the NFC link to the card. The timestamp NFC connectivity data may then be paired with mobile device GPS coordinates, concurrently retrieved from one or more mobile GPS-based navigation applications, to facilitate card tracking functionality as well as multi-factor validation for electronic transactions initiated by the NFC compatible card and/or the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 12143515
Abstract: A method is provided for communicating with a transaction card having a card data processor, a near card field communication (NFC) interface, and a card memory having a unique card identifier stored therein. In this method, a user communication device establishes an NFC session with the transaction card and transmits to the transaction card an NFC data exchange format (NDEF) WRITE TAG command including session-specific challenge information. The user communication device transmits to the transaction card an NDEF READ TAG command and receives from the transaction card, card-specific challenge response information. The challenge response information is then used to authenticate the transaction card.

  • Publication number: 20240370925
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to assessing and securing credit risk using creditworthiness tokens issued in a blockchain network responsive to particular financial events. An exemplary blockchain node device may store an issuance smart contract associated with an identity and including a first wallet address and allocation parameters. An event query may be sent to an oracle device external to the blockchain network. The event query may include the identity. Event data associated with the identity may then be received from the oracle device in response to the event query. A number of creditworthiness tokens is determined based on an application of the allocation parameters to the event data. The determined number of creditworthiness tokens is then allocated to the identity via the first wallet address. Thereafter, the creditworthiness tokens can be transferred or collateralized, e.g., and can represent creditworthiness for the identity across financial institutions.

  • Publication number: 20240364512
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for key recovery based on contactless card cryptograms. A server may receive, from an application, a request to recover a private key for a digital wallet, the request includes a first cryptogram generated by a contactless card. The server may decrypt the first cryptogram based on a key for the contactless card. The server may determine, based on the decryption, a unique identifier of the contactless card and a diversification factor associated with the digital wallet. • Publication number: 20240362636
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include aspects that relate to authentication of contactless interactions. Identifying information can be provided from multiple sources. A chip-embedded card can be registered to an individual and include identifying information associated with the information. During a contactless transaction, identifying information can be acquired. An individual's identity can be validated based on identifying information. A chip-embedded card can be read by a card reader at a particular location providing physical presence information. In one instance, identifying information from the chip-embedded card can be compared to other identifying information to determine whether there is a match or mismatch. A confidence score can be computed based on the amount and type of information provided. An individual's identity can be validated when the confidence score satisfies a threshold.

  • Patent number: 12126629
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying malicious cryptographic wallet addresses are disclosed. The systems and methods can receive a first plurality of tokens and an indication of a potentially malicious cryptographic wallet address from a requesting user. The system can identify a plurality of associated wallet addresses, and compare the associated wallet addresses to a stored list of malicious cryptographic wallet addresses. The system can determine a subset of the identified associated cryptographic wallet addresses that are malicious and assign a maliciousness rating to the potentially malicious cryptographic wallet address. The system can provide the maliciousness rating to the requesting user.
