  • Publication number: 20190077585
Abstract: A high flow valve for use in conjunction with a compressed gas, an aerosol or in bag-on-valve applications, and particularly to a valve having a housing that is supported by a mounting cup for a product container or can, and communicates with a product or product containment bag inside the can. A radial opening or orifice of the valve is positioned closer to a lower seal of the valve stem, rather than an upper seal or mounting cup gasket, to facilitate an increased flow rate for dispensing the product from the container and the valve.

  • Publication number: 20190080359
Abstract: Advertisements on popular websites and computer applications have become a very popular approach for modern advertisers looking to reach younger audiences. However, there is not really an accurate way to determine whether the advertisements have been effective in reaching the intended target audience. Furthermore, there is no system on the market today that gets the users involved in the advertising process, and gives the users the ability to leverage their online attention towards advertisers to benefit society, e.g. a selected charity. Accordingly, an advertisement system that involves the user in the selection of the advertisements, and provides the user a vested interest in the advertisement process by providing a donation to a selected charity would be a useful and welcome approach.

  • Publication number: 20190080394
Abstract: Disclosed is system and method for sealed bid online auctions according to a set of predetermined rules. The system designates a winning bid rank for the winning bid and a designated bid rank for a designated bid relative to the winning bid. A commitment may be associated with a bid, and may be associated with consideration which is allocated to one or more auction participants or one or more non-auction participants. A payment amount associated with the amount of the winning bid is calculated in accordance with one or more sets of predetermined rules. Calculation of the payment amount may be based on at least one of the fee or an adjustment based the amount of the winning bid and the amount of the designated bid. The fee may be paid by one or more auction or non-auction participants.

  • Patent number: 10227056
Abstract: A test apparatus includes a linear-motion generator, an airbag, a plate, an anthropomorphic test device, a crushable member, and a guide bar. The linear-motion generator is deployable in a deployment direction. The airbag is spaced from the linear-motion generator and inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. The plate and the anthropomorphic test device are movable together by the linear-motion generator. The crushable member is fixed relative to the airbag in the uninflated position and disposed in the deployment direction from the plate. The guide bar has an end fixed relative to the airbag in the uninflated position and is positioned to intersect the airbag in the inflated position. The test apparatus has a beltline bar that is elongated along an axis transverse to the deployment direction, adjacent the airbag in the uninflated position, and spaced farther from the linear-motion generator than the airbag in the inflated position.

  • Patent number: 10227858
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining one or more operating modes for a crude oil displacement system is provided. The crude oil displacement system is arranged to inject an aqueous displacement fluid into one or more reservoirs, each reservoir comprising a porous and permeable rock formation, wherein crude oil and formation water are contained within a pore space of the rock formation. The crude oil displacement system is for use in displacing crude oil from the pore space of the rock formation. The computer-implemented method comprises the steps of receiving measurement data associated with one or more chemical characteristics of the displacement fluid and one or more chemical characteristics of the rock formation, the crude oil and the formation water of the one or more reservoirs, and inputting the measurement data and data representing a predetermined volume of oil into a computer-implemented predictive model.

  • Patent number: 10231356
Abstract: A cold plate, an electronic assembly including a cold plate, and a method for forming a cold plate are provided. The cold plate includes an interface plate and an opposing plate that form a plenum. The cold plate includes a plurality of active areas arranged for alignment over respective heat generating portions of an electronic assembly, and non-active areas between the active areas. A cooling fluid flows through the plenum. The plenum, at the non-active areas, has a reduced width and/or reduced height relative to the plenum at the active areas. The reduced width and/or height of the plenum, and exterior dimensions of cold plate, at the non-active areas allow the non-active areas to flex to accommodate surface variations of the electronics assembly. The reduced width and/or height non-active areas can be specifically shaped to fit between physical features of the electronics assembly.
