Abstract: This document describes a spatial light modulator that comprises a pixel array having a plurality of pixels whereby each pixel in this array is communicatively coupled to a digital pixel circuit which are in turn all coupled to a bit-plane control circuit. The bit-plane control circuit is configured to generate, using a Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) algorithm, bit-plane signals that are used to control the sample and hold functions performed by each of the digital pixel circuits so that the pixel array may carry out its scanning function accurately and in a power efficient manner.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a susceptor for thermal processing is provided. The susceptor includes an outer rim surrounding and coupled to an inner dish, the outer rim having an inner edge and an outer edge. The susceptor further includes one or more structures for reducing a contacting surface area between a substrate and the susceptor when the substrate is supported by the susceptor. At least one of the one or more structures is coupled to the inner dish proximate the inner edge of the outer rim.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recovery access to lost blockchain wallet seed phrases are disclosed. The systems and methods can store seed phrases for users for future retrieval. In some examples, a decentralized oracle creates an oracle private key that can be used to authenticate a user who is requesting the seed phrase. In some examples, the oracle creates a private/public key pair that can be used to transmit and store an encrypted version of the seed phrase. The authentication steps described herein also include knowledge-based authentication questions about the wallet, e.g., prior transactions using the wallet, value of the wallet, and the like.

Abstract: A system may verify a plurality of electronic utility data records to determine when each of the plurality of electronic utility data records is authentic. The system may determine a proportion of sustainable energy utilization data in each of the verified plurality of electronic utility data records. The system may assign a weighting factor to the determined proportion of the sustainable energy utilization data for each the verified plurality of electronic utility data records. The system may generate a sustainable energy score from the assigned weighting factor for each of the verified plurality of electronic utility data records. The system may rank each of the verified plurality of electronic utility data records by the generated sustainable energy score. The system may determine one or more of the ranked plurality of electronic utility data records above a predefined threshold level, and may provide incentives to computing device(s) associated with such records.

Abstract: The present invention discloses compounds of Formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, or prodrugs thereof: which inhibit Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the aforementioned compounds for administration to a subject suffering from RSV infection. The invention also relates to methods of treating an RSV infection in a subject by administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compounds of the present invention.

Abstract: In one aspect, there is provided a method for preference learning. The method may include: determining whether existing data associated with a user is available, wherein the existing data includes preference weights assigned to user clusters; when existing data associated with the user is unavailable: selecting, based on a ranking of the user clusters, a user cluster; providing, based on a selected user cluster, recommendations to the user; and assigning, based on a response of the user to the recommendations, a preference weight to each of the selected user cluster and/or another user cluster; and when existing data associated with the user is available, determining whether to exploit the existing data or to explore new preferences for the user, wherein exploiting comprises providing the recommendations based on the existing data, and wherein exploring comprises providing the recommendations by selecting a user cluster not assigned a preference weight.

Abstract: A broadcasting system having a transmitter that broadcasts a one-way signal is provided. The one-way signal is embedded with data that is transmitted to a device that is enabled with near field communication (NFC) technology. The NFC-enabled device may then transfer at least a portion of the transmitted embedded data to another NFC-enabled device by bringing the NFC-enabled devices into close proximity to each other.

Abstract: A portable electronic device is provided comprising a processor, a memory, a first radio transceiver, a second radio transceiver, and an application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, receives a first rule associated with a first commercial promotion via the first radio transceiver. The application also determines, based on the first rule and information specific to the device, that the device is qualified to exercise a right associated with the first commercial promotion. The application also transmits to a server via the first radio transceiver a message indicating that the device has qualified to exercise the right associated with the first commercial promotion and associating a code with the first commercial promotion. The application also completes a payment transaction for one of a product or a service via the second radio transceiver, wherein the payment transaction comprises transmitting the code associated with the first commercial promotion.

If the selected portion of the auxiliary media content is associated with at least one item of information, the media component receives the information over a second channel, and displays the received information via a user interface on the handset. The received information includes a link to a commerce server that provides a commercially available product and/or a commercially available service related to the selected portion of the auxiliary media content to enable a transaction. The link may be based on a highest value bid within a period of time.

The electronic wallet application enters a ready-to-pay mode, initiates a ready-to-pay timer when entering the ready-to-pay mode, transmits the confidential information when in the ready-to-pay mode based on receiving contactless communication, and leaves the ready-to-pay mode when the ready-to-pay timer expires.

Abstract: A method of authenticating a content reference that is related to a public information display to reduce third party interference with the content reference is provided. The method comprises reading information from a tag, the information including a content reference, wirelessly transmitting the information, and comparing the information with authentication information associated with the content reference. The content reference identifies a content. The method also comprises sending an authentication result, wherein the authentication result is based on the comparing, and requesting the content when the authentication result is positive.

Abstract: A mobile payment services integration system is provided. The system comprises a computer system and an application, that when executed on the computer system, maintains a list of payment options associated with a portable electronic device. The system also authenticates an identity of the portable electronic device in connection with a first online purchase transaction with a first online merchant. The system also orders payment using one of the payment options to the first online merchant. The system also authenticates the identity of the portable electronic device in connection with a second online purchase transaction with a second online merchant, where the first online merchant is unaffiliated with the second online merchant. The system also orders payment using one of the payment options to the second online merchant.

According to the applet access control method, when an application requests a management program for access to an applet stored in an SE, the management program controls access of the application to the requested applet. Accordingly, since an application that has no access right is prohibited from accessing an applet, security for information stored in the applets can be increased.

Abstract: According to particular embodiments, determining paths in a network with asymmetric switches includes receiving a graph representing the network. Each asymmetric switch has defined degree connectivity between one or more pairs of degrees of the asymmetric switch. The graph is transformed to yield a transformed graph that accounts for the asymmetric switches. A routing process is applied to the transformed graph to yield one or more paths through the network.
