  • Patent number: 4261560
Abstract: The sheet separation apparatus for separating a transfer sheet from a toner image bearing photoconductor for use in an electrophotographic copying machine comprises a plurality of separators which are rotatably mounted on a shaft arranged parallel to the photoconductor, and each of the separators is independently urged into pressure contact with the surface of the photoconductor by a spring member through a control member which is substantially integral with the shaft. In one embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the control member serves as a protector for preventing toner particles from being scattered from the surface of the photoconductor and in another embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the shaft can be turned about a predetermined point of one end portion of the shaft in the direction that the other end portion of the shaft can be moved away from the photoconductor for easy maintenance of the sheet separation apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4254923
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette in which a cassette housing has half cases with aligned, confronting projections on innder surfaces thereof on which a cylindrical guide roll with an axial bore therethrough is supported, has an annular, axially projecting rib on either the guide rolls or the projections so as to prevent any burrs which may be on the guide roll around the axial bore therethrough from coming into contact with the projections, thereby preventing noise which might otherwise be caused by the burrs.

  • Patent number: 4227622
Abstract: A tape cassette comprises an upper half casing and a lower half casing and male hollow cylindrical projections having a notch mounted on either of the upper half casing or the lower half casing and female hollow recesses mounted on the other half casing at the corresponding positions. The upper and lower half casings are superposed to fit the male hollow cylindrical projects into the corresponding female hollow recesses and are fixed together by screwing self-tap bolts from the female hollow recesses into the male hollow cylindrical projections having notches to fix the projections on the inner surfaces of the female hollow recesses.

  • Patent number: 3992083
Abstract: A variable focus objective lens having a magnification range in the order of 1 : 30 and greater and having two pairs of relatively movable members which objective consists of a front assembly and a rear assembly which includes one of the two pairs of movable members to which consecutive zooming movement is imparted. This is done in order to add a varifocal range to a varifocal range of zooming movement of the movable members of the front assembly, in association with a control mechanism of simple structure incorporated in barrels of the lens mount therefor.

  • Patent number: 3990733
Abstract: A hub for winding a magnetic tape thereon comprises a clamp for retaining one end of a magnetic tape. The novel tape clamp comprises a substantially rigid upper web, a resilient lower web and a pair of legs depending from the ends of the upper web and connected to the ends of the lower web. The lower web supplements the resilient force of the legs. As the upper web is not subjected to a stress, the magnetic tape is wound properly on the upper web.
