  • Publication number: 20230327930
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to generating pre DFT RS and data multiplexed DFT-S-OFDM with excess bandwidth shaping. The RS and user data are transmitted in different OFDM symbols, such that channel estimation to equalize the data can be estimated clearly at the receiver. The present disclosure a method for transmitting a waveform is disclosed. The method comprising generating, by a transmitter, at least one of: at least one data sequence and at least one reference sequence (RS). Also the method comprises time-multiplexing the at least one data sequence with the at least one RS, to generate a multiplexed sequence, and generating a filtered-extended bandwidth DFT-s-OFDM symbol using the multiplexed sequence. Also, the method transmits RS and user data in one OFDM symbol with DFT-s-OFDM, which eventually offers low PAPR. Further, the method transmits only RS so that low PAPR is achieved.

  • Patent number: 11782795
Abstract: A method and system for source versus target metadata-based data integrity checking. Concerning backup operations directed to protecting given data, said given data may be subjected to corruption detection at the source prior to initiating a backup operation, however, said given data may not be checked for data integrity following transfer of said given data to a target storage medium prior to committing the said given data thereto. That is, at least presently, the prospect of data corruption compromising given data during the time window through which the given data journeys, usually via a network, from its source to a target storage medium, is often overlooked. The disclosed method and system, accordingly, propose a scheme directed to detecting corruption amongst data transferred from a source to a target storage medium, and handling said data given the determined integrity of said data.

  • Patent number: 11783805
Abstract: Techniques for ordering the output of notification summaries are described. A system may receive multiple notifications intended for a same user or group of users. In response to receiving a user input requesting output of notifications (or in response to multiple notifications expiring soon), the system may identify multiple notifications intended for the user or group of users. The system generates natural language summaries of the notifications, and orders the natural language summaries based on one or more default ordering rules, one or more user preferences, one or more notification provider preference, and/or user feedback. The system then outputs the ordered natural language summaries to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230309952
Abstract: A method of fetal ultrasound monitoring includes detecting contact of a first ultrasound transducer to a mother’s abdomen based on input from a contact sensor in the first ultrasound transducer. A first transducer identifier is received from the first ultrasound transducer, and then the first transducer identifier is correlated with a first transducer label. A first heart rate is measured based on output of an ultrasound device in the first ultrasound transducer, and a heart rate indicator is displayed accordingly. A position of the first ultrasound transducer is identified in a two-dimensional plane, and the first transducer label is displayed on an abdomen image based on the first position.

  • Publication number: 20230297592
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for partitioning received data for use in a data stream. Data is received during a period of time at a device, such as a data partitioner. The device a) determines that a first subset of the data is for a first system component, b) a second subset of the data is for a second system component, and c) a third subset of the data is for the first system component. Also, determines that a first stream partition is mapped to the first system component and a second stream partition is mapped to the second system component. Based on these determinations, the device assigns the first and third subsets of the data to the first stream partition and the second subset of the data to the second stream partition. Thereafter, the device transmits a stream that includes the first stream partition and the second stream partition.

  • Publication number: 20230297436
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for aggregating received data from a data stream. Data is received from a particular stream partition to which a device is subscribed, and subsets of the data, from the particular stream partition, are aggregated based on respective keys associated with the subsets of the data. The device determines whether one or more subsets of data, associated with a particular key, meet at least one processing criteria, such as a threshold amount of data, and refraining from processing the aggregated data when the processing criteria is not met. Once additional subset(s) of data associated with the particular key are received, they are aggregated with the one or more subsets of data. When the processing criteria is satisfied, the device processes the aggregated subsets of data associated with the particular key.
