    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system to selecting a waveform in a communication network. The method comprises selecting at least one sequence from a plurality of sequences for transmitting, said plurality of sequences comprises a plurality of sub-set of sequences such that a sequence in a sub-set of sequences is a cyclic shifted version another sequence in said sub-set of sequences. Also, the method comprises rotating at least one sequence from a plurality of sequences by 90 degrees to produce at least one rotated sequence. Further, the method comprises transforming the at least one rotated sequence into frequency domain using a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) to generate a transformed sequence and mapping the transformed sequence using a plurality of subcarriers to generate a mapped sequence. Thereafter, the method comprises processing the mapped sequence to generate a waveform having an optimized PAPR, optimized auto and cross-correlation.

A Transport Block Size is obtained for the REs obtained and is transmitted by adding Cyclic Redundancy Check. The procedure also includes the usage of uplink symbols in special slots. The method also comprising the usage of Reference Symbols across the transmission opportunities based on the UE capability.

The method comprises determining precoder information using one of an indication from a base station and predetermined parameters corresponding to precoding. The predetermined parameters are one of coefficients of the precoding filter, and flatness requirement of the precoding filter. Also, the method comprises generating a sequence of output modulation symbols, wherein each output modulation symbol is obtained using a block of input data symbols and a lookup table. The lookup table is a function of the precoder information and predetermined modulation information. Next, the sequence of output modulation symbols is transformed using Discrete Fourier Transform to generate transformed output modulation symbols.

A memory device may use an initial set of logical pages each having a same size and one or more logical-to-physical (L2P) tables to map logical addresses of the logical pages to the physical addresses of corresponding physical pages. As commands are received from a host device, the memory device may dynamically split a logical page to introduce smaller logic pages if the host device accesses data in chunk sizes smaller than the size of the logical page that is split. The memory device may maintain one or more additional L2P tables for each smaller logical page size that is introduced, along with one or more pointer tables to map between L2P tables and entries for larger logical page sizes and L2P tables and entries associated with smaller logical page sizes.
