  • Patent number: 11427641
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for extended release of certain types of antibodies in vivo. It was discovered that such antibodies are able to initiate reversible gelation of hyaluronic acid (HA) by creating a depot that dissociates over time to release the antibody without any impact on its physical and chemical properties as well as its biological activity. As certain tissues and organs, such as eyes, joints and skins, contain HA, local injection of the antibodies to these tissues or organs will result in embedding of the antibody in gel formed from the HA, which becomes a repository of slow-released antibodies. In addition, slow-released formulations can be prepared with antibodies mixed with HA, optionally with other polymers.

  • Publication number: 20220232048
Abstract: System, method, and apparatus for Internet Protocol (IP) based radio communications. One or more browser-based dispatch consoles connect to one or more Radio over IP (RoIP) gateway device over an untrusted network (e.g., the public Internet) using a Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) connection secured with SSL/TLS. Each RoIP gateway device provides an analog interface to the radio domain so as to communicate with one or more radio. This architecture avoids any ongoing connection to a centralized cloud-based server and maintains secure radio communications over the untrusted network. Each browser-based dispatch console accesses each RoIP gateway device from a standard web browser thus enabling portability across any platform that supports a browser.

  • Patent number: 11261574
Abstract: An exemplary turbine system for generating hydroelectric power. The exemplary turbine system is generally installed in shallow waterways and accelerates water flowing therein. The accelerated water generates power via spinning one or more turbine rotors of the system. An exemplary method for installing the turbine system is disclosed. The method includes first lowering a turbine system base into the shallow waterway, where the base includes a depression for accepting a mortise insert. The mortise insert includes one or more sockets for accepting notches in a base plate, where the base plate is coupled to one or more turbine rotors. The base plate mates with the mortise insert for ease of installation and securely positioning the one or more turbine rotors within the system.

  • Publication number: 20210221616
Abstract: A picking system may provide a fast, flexible pick cart solution that may be deployed in warehouses or distribution centers to enable users to pick multiple items to put into a plurality of order bins (or carts) with high speed and accuracy to create completed orders ready for packing and shipping. Hardware and software may be bundled on the carts which may shorten training times, simplify integration, and allow for adjustment of carts based on product/items needs, all while improving picking efficiency. The picking system may include a cloud-based computer platform that may control light and displays in the lighted pick shelves that direct users to place a specified quantity of items in specific order bins. Users in remote locations may be linked to the cloud-based computer platform that may control lighted pick shelves in the users' locations.

  • Publication number: 20210095632
Abstract: Systems and methods for hydro-electric power generation are disclosed. The system includes a frame or structure positioned in a waterway or channel, with one or more hydro-transition units secured to corners of the frame. The hydro-transition units include a body of reinforced fabric for redirecting water flow towards the inlet of the frame, effectively increasing the current of the water and allowing for turbines within the frame to generate power at an increased rate. Anchors and bracket systems may secure the hydro-transition units to both the waterway and the frame, thereby allowing the body of reinforced fabric to withstanding force from water-flow within the waterway. The system includes various failsafe mechanisms for disengaging or detaching the hydro-transition units from the frame and/or anchor for reacting to high water flow or volumes (e.g., flooding).

  • Patent number: 10921417
Abstract: Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for updating the location information for a gas detector device. A gas detector device may comprise a wireless receiver operable to receive information from one or more wireless beacons. In some cases, the wireless beacons may comprise location information. When the gas detector device receives a wireless beacon, the location information stored on the gas detector device may be updated accordingly. In some cases, the subsequent readings of the gas detector device may be associated with the updated location information. In some cases, the wireless beacons may be located at critical areas within a facility, such as entrances or exits to locations.

  • Publication number: 20210035226
Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, an automated system performs a multi-level risk exposure analysis for geographic locations, such as property locations. The system may include computing systems and devices for calculating, for locations in a portfolio, risk exposure amounts for an area that includes an insured location and including an analysis radius and identifying regions of interest having risk exposure amounts that exceed predetermined amounts due to combined exposure from a portion of the insured locations. The system may generate a grid of intermediate points that is applied to each region of interest. The system may calculate amounts of risk exposure for each of the intermediate points and retain any intermediate points with risk exposure amounts that exceed the amounts for the insured locations. The system may output a risk exposure analysis based on the risk exposure amounts for the insured locations and intermediate points of interest.

  • Publication number: 20200002261
Abstract: The present invention provides processes for preparing a prostacyclin analogue of Formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R10 is a linear or branched C1-6 alkyl. The processes of the present invention comprise steps that generate improved yields and fewer byproducts than traditional methods. The processes of the present invention employ reagents (e.g., the oxidizing reagent) that are less toxic that those used in the traditional methods (e.g., oxalyl chloride). Many of the processes of the present invention generate intermediates with improved e.e. and chemical purity; thereby eliminating the need of additional chromatography steps. And, the processes of the present invention are scalable to generate commercial quantities of the final compound.
