Patent number: 4675688Abstract: A rate sensor, preferably comprised of a tuned gyro, has a generally cylindrical outer housing and an inner, large diameter rotary cylindrical support defining the gyro's rotary axis. The rate sensing apparatus is mounted in the volume between the outer housing and the rotary cylindrical support whereby the interior of the rotary cylindrical support defines a large diameter hollow for receiving and supporting apparatus, other than rate sensing components of the rate sensor. The rate sensor may be advantageously used with a homing device, the seeker apparatus of the device being mounted in said hollow. This produces a homing device with a high packing density and, as the rotary axis of the gyro gimbals and that of the seeker coincide, detrimental unbalance and unwanted increase in inertial movement is eliminated.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 1986Date of Patent: June 23, 1987Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Hirokazu Sahara, Kiyoshi Nakayama

Patent number: 4586348Abstract: A refrigerator cabinet basically comprises the body of cabinet, an outer box, an inner box and a heat insulating layer filled in a space formed between the boxes, characterized in that the outer box comprises a top wall and both side walls formed by bending one steel sheet previously coated with paint and further flanges reinforced by a reinforcing member without calking and rivetting, the reinforcing member being engaged with and supported by the groove formed in the flange. Since the reinforcing member roughly L-shaped can be installed by inserting work thereof, it offers excellent workability. In addition, because the reinforcing member is arranged tightly along the inside surface of the groove, it will not interfere with the operation of inserting the high temperature cooling medium pipe of the refrigerating cycle into groove and offer excellent operability.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 1984Date of Patent: May 6, 1986Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Nakayama, Takashi Kato, Tatsuo Sekiguchi, Mamoru Satoh, Koshiro Hayakawa

Patent number: 4499342Abstract: A switch suitable for use in the remote control of electrically driven rearview mirrors of a motor vehicle. The switch is adapted to close and open a plurality of switch elements by means of a single or divided operation member. The switch occupies only a small space in an instrument panel, etc. of a motor vehicle because the switch is thin and small. Fixed contact pairs (3a, 4a) to (3f', 4f') forming fixed contact components are printed approximately point symmetrically around a specific center on an insulating base plate. Movable contact means is disposed on top of the fixed contact components, said movable contact means being adapted to electrically connect each of the fixed contact pairs (3a, 4a) to (3f', 4') when said means is pushed.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1983Date of Patent: February 12, 1985Assignee: Murakami Kaimeido Co., Ltd.Inventor: Kiyoshi Nakayama

Patent number: 4476356Abstract: A multi-position switch suitable for use as a remote control switch for electrically operated rearview mirrors of a motor vehicle. The switch of the invention comprises fixed contact components in the form of printed circuits disposed on an insulating base plate, a pressure-sensitive conductive rubber sheet (which becomes conductive only when and where it is pressed) being laid over the fixed contact components, whereby the fixed contact components and the rubber sheet forming switch elements, and an operating button adapted to be tilted with respect to the rubber sheet and having a tendency to return to its original position. Therefore, the switch of the invention can have a flat, thin shape. Also, the switch is easy to assemble and has satisfactory reliability because it consists of a small number of component parts. Furthermore, the operating button is adapted to have a tilting stroke and make clicks, so that the switch of the invention is easy to use and gives a reassuring feeling of use.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 1983Date of Patent: October 9, 1984Assignee: Murakami Kaimeido Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Nakayama, Tadayoshi Muto

Patent number: 4248617Abstract: This invention relates to a process for producing a granular phosphate fertilizer by reacting and granulating simultaneously a mixture of a basic material which contains acid-soluble CaO and acid-soluble MgO, and also acid-soluble SiO.sub.2, with phosphoric acid and/or an acidic phosphate in such a mixing ratio thatA/MO=0.05-0.45[in which MO represents moles of the acid-soluble alkaline earth metals in the basic material (calculated as their oxides) and A represents moles of the phosphoric acid or the free phosphoric acid derived from the acidic phosphate (calculated as P.sub.2 O.sub.5)]. This process makes use of industrial wastes, as the starting basic material, such as slag discharged from metal refining and fly ash. The granular fertilizer obtained by the process is high in granule hardness, easy to handle, and high in phosphate fertilization effect and gives an effect on improving acidic soil.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 1979Date of Patent: February 3, 1981Assignee: Mitsubishi Chemical Industries LimitedInventors: Seiichi Kamo, Tetzuo Watanabe, Kiyoshi Nakayama

Patent number: 4144879Abstract: A pressure is applied by pressure means to a blood vessel from the outside, and gradually reduced, and the pressure resulting from movement of the blood pressure during the pressure reduction is converted by a pressure sensor into an electric signal. The converted output is differentiated twice, and it is detected that a first-polarity pulse, a second-polarity pulse and another first-polarity pulse are generated successively in the differentiated output waveform within a predetermined period of time. The highest blood pressure is obtained with the pressure of the pressure means at the moment of first detection of three such pulses, and the lowest blood pressure is obtained with the pressure of the pressure means when the above detection is no longer achieved. The measured values are recorded in a digital form and, at the same time, the converted output waveform is recorded.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1977Date of Patent: March 20, 1979Assignee: Zaidanhojin NipponrodobunkakyokaiInventors: Kiyoshi Nakayama, Shinichi Yagi
