  • Patent number: 6884670
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device having an insulated gate type field effect transistor. A gate insulating film, a gate electrode layer having a predetermined area and facing the semiconductor substrate with the gate insulating film being interposed therebetween, an interlayer insulating film, and a wiring layer connected to the gate electrode layer, are formed on a semiconductor substrate in the order recited. A conductive material layer and a resist layer are formed on the wiring layer. The resist layer is patterned to form a resist mask forming a wiring pattern having an antenna ratio of about ten times or more of the predetermined area of the gate electrode layer. At least the conductive material layer is plasma-etched by using the resist mask as an etching mask, and thereafter, the resist mask is removed and the wiring layer is plasma-etched.

  • Publication number: 20040240676
Abstract: A wide frequency range signal from a test sound source 1 is reproduced successively by a plurality of speakers 101 to 104, and the reproduced sound is detected by a plurality of microphones 111 and 112, after which the frequency characteristics thereof are obtained at FFTs 4b and 4c, while obtaining the frequency characteristics of the wide frequency range signal at an FFT 4a. A high frequency range level is normalized with a low frequency range level, and a determination section 8 compares the normalized value with a reference value stored in a reference value storage section 9 to determine the number and positions of people in the sound field. At the same time, the transfer functions between the speakers and the microphones are calculated at transfer function calculators 10a and 10b, and impulse responses are obtained at IFFTs 12a and 12b, after which a reverberation time calculator 13 calculates the reverberation time based on the impulse responses.

  • Patent number: 6801735
Abstract: When image forming is repeated with cleanerless image forming apparatus “positive ghost” which means that the preceding image is slightly left occurs because residual toner is not recovered by developing means. Even if an image forming apparatus with an electrically conductive brush or auxiliary means repeats image forming or continuously forms image with a high image ratio, resistance of the brush increases because residual toner is deposited on the electrically conductive brush. In the results, advantages of the electrically conductive brush which erases traces of the preceding image are lost. Therefore, they are provided, an image forming apparatus which does not let image traces leave and an image forming apparatus which prevents the resistance of auxiliary means and cleans auxiliary means.

  • Publication number: 20040134593
Abstract: A novel process for producing a dry preform for a composite material takes advantage of the fact that a reinforcing filament assembly, when consisting of a fiber reinforcement layer a, formed by stringing a first set of parallel strands of fiber reinforcement over a part or all of the plane within any desired shape along the straight axis 2, and a fiber reinforcement layer b, formed by stringing a second set of parallel strands of fiber reinforcement over the plane at an angle &thgr; with respect to the straight axis 2, such that 0°<&thgr;<180°, the part of the reinforcing filament assembly that consists solely of the fiber reinforcement b can be deformed as desired. According to this process, strands c of fiber reinforcement are strung using a fiber reinforcement string jig as shown in FIGS. 8(A) and 8(B). The layers of the strung strands of fiber reinforcement are brought together by a simple means such as stitching.
