Abstract: In the method and dissolving therapeutic apparatus for dissolving a coagulation within a living body, a medicinal liquid for dissolving the coagulation within the living body is injected into the living body, the injected medicinal liquid is left within the living body for a predetermined time and the fluid within the living body containing the coagulation dissolved by the medicinal liquid and the medicinal liquid is substantially all discharged out of the living body. A series of steps including at least respective injecting, leaving and discharging steps is repeated. Preferably, vibrating waves are radiated toward the coagulation during the leaving step.

Abstract: A thermotherapeutic apparatus comprises an internal applicator adapted to be inserted into a body cavity of a patient. The internal applicator includes an electrode for warming the tissues of the patient's body with use of an applied voltage, a holding member for holding the electrode, a balloon surrounding the electrode and attached to the holding member, a feed/discharge unit for feeding into and discharging a fluid from the balloon, and a mechanism for situating a radiation source, used in radiotherapy on the body tissues, in the vicinity of the electrode.

Abstract: A radioactive ray detecting endoscope comprises an elongated insertable part having an observing window in the tip part, an imaging apparatus converting an image of an observed part obtained through the observing window to an electric signal and a radioactive ray detecting apparatus detecting radioactive rays from inside the visual field of the imaging apparatus. The imaging apparatus has, for example, a solid state imaging device imaging an optical image of an object. Also, a collimator regulating the radioactive ray detecting direction is provided, for example, around the radioactive ray detecting apparatus.
