  • Publication number: 20150293459
Abstract: A driving apparatus is disclosed which has a movable part, a measuring device measuring a position of the movable part, two actuators respectively generating two thrusts which have a common axis of action thereof with respect to the movable part, and a controller that controls the position by the two actuators based on output of the measuring device. The controller obtains information of at least one of a thrust constant of one of the two actuators, a thrust constant of the other of the actuators, and rigidity of a member which supports the movable part with respect to the axis of action, based on a relationship between disturbance force estimated from thrust commands for the two actuators and an output of the measuring device in a case where the one actuator generates a thrust and the other actuator controls the position, and a thrust command for the one actuator.

  • Patent number: 9129590
Abstract: Disclosed are an audio encoding device and an audio decoding device which reduce degradation of subjective quality of a decoding signal caused by power mismatch of a decoding signal which is generated by a concealing process upon disappearance of a frame. When a frame is lost, a past encoding parameter is used to obtain a concealed LPC of the current frame and a concealed sound source parameter. A normal CELP decoding is performed from the obtained concealed sound source parameter. Correction is performed by using a conceal parameter on the obtained concealed LPC and the concealed sound source signal. The power of the corrected concealed sound source signal is adjusted to match a reference sound source power. A filter gain of the synthesis filter is adjusted so as to adjust the power of a decoded sound signal to the power of a decoded sound signal during an error-free state.

  • Publication number: 20150196259
Abstract: An accessory mounting device and system for the same, particularly involving radiographic systems, includes a feature to securely recognize a fixing condition of an accessory. In mounting a platform to a table, a fixing member is oscillated or moved so that the platform moves to an engagement position. A pin installed at a tip of the fixing member engages a fixing element formed in the table. Then, a movement restriction member is oscillated so that it can move to a restriction position. An oscillating movement of the movement restriction member is restricted by moving a lock-pin. Alternatively, a fixing member in a movable non-lock-state allows a display region recognizable from a display position.

  • Patent number: 9036073
Abstract: An imaging apparatus enables the user to separately set an AF area and an enlargement area and, when the position of the AF area is changed, eliminates time and effort to change the position of the enlargement area. To achieve this, the imaging apparatus includes an AF area setting unit configured to set an AF area used for AF indicating an area out of the live view image of a subject imaged by an imaging unit, and a control unit configured to change a position of an enlargement area indicating an area to be enlarged in conjunction with a position of the AF area set by the AF area setting unit and configured, in response to an instruction to change the position of the enlargement area, to change the position of the enlargement area without changing the position of the AF area set by the AF area setting unit.

  • Patent number: 8983830
Abstract: An encoding device can achieve both highly effective encoding/decoding and high-quality decoding audio when executing a scalable stereo audio encoding by using MDCT and ICP. In the encoding device, an MDCT converter executes an MDCT conversion on a residual signal of left channel/right channel subjected to window processing. An MDCT converter executes an MDCT conversion on the monaural residual signal which has been subjected to the window processing. An ICP analyzer executes an ICP analysis by using the correlation between a frequency coefficient of a high-band portion of the left channel/right channel and a frequency coefficient of a high-band portion of the monaural residual signal so as to generate an ICP parameter of the left channel/right channel residual signal. An ICP parameter quantizes each of the ICP parameters. A low-band encoding unit encoder executes highly-accurate encoding on the frequency coefficient of the low-band portion of the left channel/right channel residual signal.

  • Patent number: 8944030
Abstract: The fuel supply apparatus optimizes the timing of performing the fuel pressure change indication and the fuel injection timing to suppress the real fuel injection amount from being differentiated from the target fuel injection amount even at the time of the fuel pressure being changed, thereby improving fuel consumption. The ECU judges that the fuel pressure change request is generated (“YES” in Step S11), and calculates the change retarding time t1 (Step S12) when the fuel pressure is at the low pressure side, and the ECU determines that the vehicle is in the warming-up state, or that the fuel is at the high temperature. The ECU sets the change timing to avoid the timing of injecting the fuel from overlapping the changing timing of the fuel pressure with reference to the injection timing of the fuel injection control (Step S13).

  • Patent number: 8849079
Abstract: A light diffusing element diffuses light output from an output facet of an optical fiber that enters the light diffusing element at a first end and outputting the diffused light from a second end. The light diffusing element is equipped with a semireflective surface for reflecting a portion of the light, provided at a predetermined portion of the light diffusing element corresponding to the core of the output facet. The semireflective surface intersects at least with the optical axis of the optical fiber. Thereby, propagation of light in directions away from the optical axis of the optical fiber can be promoted during the step of reflecting the portion of the light that enters the light diffusing element.
